We each had half of about an 8 foot grass and weed area between each of our patios. I put some planks down from the shared faucet out to the main back lawn which all 4 residents shared. I have had total knee replacements on both knees and didn't want to slip. The planks themselves were a little iffy, but betters than dips in the ground, and chunks of weeds. My evil neighbor would frequently get my side all wet, but one day she left the planks dry and put white powdery stuff all over them. Not exactly anthrax, probably lime or something, but whatever thing it was, there was no reason to be sprinkling it on my little wooden planks.

I know, I know, I'm a terrible hypocrite, but once I heard the exhaust note and then took it for a test drive...it had to be mine!
However, I am gong to offset my carbon emissions by getting a Smart ForTwo, and only driving the AUDI at the weekends.
The Smart isn't going to be on sale here until February or March, so in the meantime, sadly , I'll just have to drive the AUDI every day.

Jesus Concerned About Our Heart
The first thing we learn from this beatitude is that Jesus is concerned with our heart. It is not enough to clean up our act on the outside.

The aim of Jesus Christ is not to reform the manners of society, but to change the hearts of sinners like you and me. So, for example, Jesus would not be satisfied with a society in which there were no acts of adultery.

The heart is what you are, in the secrecy of your thought and feeling, when nobody knows but God. And what you are at the invisible root matters as much to God as what your are at the visible branch. I asked to take his photo. Later on, when I took a look and saw that it wasn't too terrible of a shot, I gave him my card and told him to e-mail me if he wanted a copy of the photo.
I've done this before, about five or six times, and Greg was the first to ever contact me. Maybe the other people thought I was going to charge them. But I don't do that when it's me asking them if I can take a shot.
Anyway, I hope he likes it. I like the way it turned out.
