"He could just hear her breathing on the other side. Not strong enough to melt the ice between them."
umm, maybe better cut down on the FC&D#40 dye............
Thanks David Kracht, flickr and new owners SmugMug -- might as well give these new guys a chance.
probably last of hummer images for a while, as of Winter solstice they finally have left town around here ( it seems ).
Updated --- I repented and no longer use this "oh-so fun" dye in my food.....
This is the picture I wish I'd made last week-end.. Nice big moon just showing above a typical night Paris landscape. Instead I spent a lot of time here and there without any result. Therefore I had no other choice than making this fake..
Explored #73. Thanks!
Please meet the world's largest indoor aquarium located in the recently opened Hyper-Mega-Shopping-Center Dubai Mall, just near the world's tallest building Burj Dubai. As you can imagine, there were lots of people standing in front of the aquarium, hence this particular shooting angle...
This is a 4 exposures handheld Digital Blending, shot at ISO 800 f/2.8
My good ol' 5 years old P4 desktop PC died without apparent reason last week, therefore I have been busy setting up a new machine, more powerful (a Core 2 Quad processor - info for my fellow flickr photogs & geeks!), not much time for photo shooting and flickr. Luckily all my photos were backed up on 3 different external drives & DVDs (might seem a bit paranoid!).
Have a great Sunday my friends and I will be catching up on your streams from now on.

While strolling on the trail at Castle Rock, we encountered this supr hyper puppy. He was wiggling his tails, dashing from left to right, back and forth, and vice versa. I bet he has not been let out by his owner for quite some time. I managed to snap a shot of the puppy when he was circling around us.

Six thirty in the morning at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. The coffee was waiting along with six monitors showing six different news shows. Political news, sports news, weather, financial news, even a story about a person missing after the recent floods in some town I've never heard of in the midwest. How can our minds even assimilate this much information? I mourn the loss of simplicity from my grandparent's generation.
In 1955 my grandparents purchased their 1st television set. I was 4-years old. It blew my little mind. I thought that we were watching people on another planet living out their lives. Now we practically are.
I was relieved to get home to our small town where the local news (Yubanet.com) recently reported this hot flash:
"April 11, 2019 at 9:42 AM A large pig is wandering in the roadway between Coyote Street and Lake Vera on North Bloomfield. Use caution in the area and check your pig pens."
