Halverwege 2025 nam RRF het vervoer van methanol tussen de haven van Rotterdam en Dordrecht Industrie over. De decennialange heerschappij van DB Cargo en voorgaande bedrijfsnamen werd daarmee doorbroken; in de afgelopen jaren lukte het slechts Captrain en LOCON om enkele keren een speldenprikje uit te delen door enkele (proef)wagens te bezorgen. Een tender resulteerde in RRF als tractieleverancier voor de methanoltreinen naar Chemours en een nieuw gezicht hier. Voor DB resteert slechts nog een handvol, of enkele handen vol, bonte wagens per week naar Dordrecht Industrie.
Chemours gebruikt methanol in haar productieproces. Het gebruikte methanol kwam de afgelopen jaren wisselend uit de Europoort of terminals in de Botlek, veelal per schip naar Rotterdam aangevoerd uit de VS en het Midden-Oosten. Op 29 januari is RRF-loc 16 met liefst 16 wagens methanol op het raccordement gearriveerd; een dubbele set, want normaal pendelen twee setjes van 8 wagens in dit vervoer. Het personeel meldt zich in de portiersloge, waarna de trein het terrein op wordt gedrukt. Op de achtergrond braakt de koeltoren van de verbrandingsoven van HVC een continue hoeveelheid warmte uit.

Aan het begin van de zomervakantie konden twee bedieningen van het lijstje worden afgestreept. Nadat ik op 27 juli de bediening van Standic had gedaan, werd diezelfde avond nog de auto geparkeerd in de buurt van Chemours.
Toen er dubbeltractie 6400 voor bleek te zitten was mijn vreugde groot, totdat bleek dat ik was vergeten mijn instellingen aan te passen, met overbelichting als gevolg. Daarom werd het de volgende dag nog een keer geprobeerd, aangezien het huisje waar we zaten toch in de buurt was.
Met deze keer de juiste instellingen komt de 6438 rond half 7 van de Merwedelingelijn afrijden naar het keerspoor met aanvoertrein 62022 uit Kijfhoek, bestaande uit een sleep ketels. Na een hoop gepiep en gekraak van de wagons en nadat de machinist naar de voorkant van de ketels is gelopen, begint de 6438 met duwen en duwt deze de sleep het terrein van Chemours op. Het grote gebouw van de HVC Afvalcentrale op de achtergrond dient ondertussen als een mooi motiefje voor het industrele sfeertje.

Stagecoach Highlands operated Volvo B8RLE MCV eVoRa SJ73 HVC - 39511 - is pictured on Academy Street in Inverness with a service on route 16 towards Foyers.
This vehicle wears the 2020 Stagecoach Local livery and is one of 4 short wheelbase buses of its type ordered in 2023, consisting of 3 for Inverness and surrounding areas and one for Portree.
Route 16 has since been withdrawn with the Highland Council taking it and using the number for a different service while using their 302 to cover the areas the Stagecoach 16 served.
