DPR's morning empties head east past MP10 near Dinosaur, CO. Just ahead is a spirited climb of Holum Pass, the last hurdle for the crew and train before reaching the Deseret mine loadout.

MacFarlan’s Hurdles — The Three Burmese Cannon of Dumbarton
Grounds of the Dumbarton Municipal Buildings, built 1900–1904
The three cannon were brought to Dumbarton from Burma and date from the period of the Third Anglo‑Burmese War (1885).
This conflict marked the final annexation of Burma into the British Empire.
The cannon were presented to the town by Provost Robert MacFarlan, who gifted them to Dumbarton around the time the Municipal Buildings opened (1904).
This is why they became known locally as “MacFarlan’s Hurdles.”

This is at the East Toronto Track and Field Championships, where the fastest of Toronto's Elementary School kids get to do all those fun things kids get to do.
This event only takes place in the dead of night
and only during a thunderstorm on All Hallows' Eve.

Created using several images I produced using deepAI.org "Image creator", blended, manipulated & layered together in Photoshop.
'weaving with nature' was the event at work today, this is my effort. Sadly the crab apple blossom has wilted on the way home! However, much fun was had by all.
I managed to capture this Brown Hare in a North Yorkshire field as the sun was coming up and shining across this field covered in dew. The Hares was having a great time chasing each other and having fun running up and down alongside a hedgerow.
A challenge to capture in focus as they were running so fast!
Thanks fore taking the time to visit my Flickr page. Happy to receive feedback / comments.
Hoping this is the last hurdle for you beyond the screen. I will try to give pictures to brighten your day, you worked hard. Don't push yourself, get some rest. You did well :)
