When nature is at its best, I always feel humble. But that's ok because being part of something that big gives me satisfaction.
This is the third of the shots I took at Leersummer field. It is only a week ago, but since then spring has knocked on the door, and although not loud, the birds are convinced it is coming!
My favourite tree almost never leaves me disappointed. Greatly changeable conditions of light make that spot very atmospheric so that it is worth hiking and waiting for the perfect moment. Hope you like it!

Down by the creek, it was a new day and a new season. The air was heavy with mist and the early morning sun was cutting through the woods. Another day to appreciate.
As she looks down in obedience,
she simply waves her hand
Inviting you in with a humble sign
knowing you would understand.
She moves away with grace and silent pas
leaves you behind at the wonderful tree
You sit down and enjoy the silence
then she comes back to serve you tea.

I feel lighter than air on this cold stormy morning at the wonderful Winter Trace sim. I’m indulging in a bit of fairy aerobics with my new playsuit and matching legwarmers from CandyDoll that you can still get at the latest Collabor88, along with the latest delicious hair from Lamb.
The humble light keeper's cottage is dwarfed by the stature of Pigeon Point Lighthouse. Lighthouse keeper's were traditionally responsible for all the maintenance activities required to keep the lighthouse functional. This required in-depth knowledge of electrification, mechanical apparatuses, plumbing, and much more. Because of the remote locations of most lighthouses, the keeper's job was typically passed down to family members. The ability to live in cramped quarters was essential.
In our times, with the decommissioning of most of the lighthouses, the light keeper's job has become obsolete. These old lighthouses are now often managed by Historical Preservation Societies. I'm thankful for them. It would be sad to see these venerable structures sink into decay.
