Sometimes when you look into their eyes, you find the missing part of yourself.
I switched Bob's eyes with A's :) and changed the colour, so one eye is blue and the other is green.
As crazy as that is they look like they belong there.

Tonemapped with Dynamic Photo HDR, once with the Human Eye method and once with the Eye Catching method, then the two were combined in Photoshop.

The photograph shows a close-up, symmetrical view of two clear, crystalline azure-blue eyes, framed by the natural expression lines of the face and sun-kissed strands of auburn hair. The shot captures a rarity of nature: there is no actual blue pigment in this gaze, but rather an optical illusion. Light enters the melanin-free eye, breaks apart, and bounces outward, scattering only the blue hue—exactly like what happens in the sky.

Taking a macro photo of your own eye might be harder than you think. I've tried a few times throughout my life but have never quite been happy with the resutls I've gotten. While this shot isn't perfect, it's probably the best result so far!

I took a picture of her and suddenly a woman came to me, speaking in farsi… She looked happy but i did not understood anything. Someone translated for me: she recognized me, and told me i already took a picture of her daughter last year too, and she was very proud as thousands of people gather in the area on this day!

One eye, half a face, and everything else left in darkness. I wanted something a little unsettling, almost intrusive. As if, for once, we weren't the ones observing the portrait, but the portrait had spotted us.

Street artist Hebsarte created this intense and colourful portrait mural for Southend City Jam 2026 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
The composition focuses closely on a pair of striking, hyper-realistic eyes staring directly at the viewer. Vivid layers of green, pink, orange, blue and purple sweep across the face in energetic, expressive strokes, while the red-toned irises give the gaze an especially dramatic quality.
The mural combines carefully observed facial detail with the freedom and movement of abstract spray-paint work. Set against a predominantly black background, its luminous colours and powerful expression make it an arresting addition to Southend’s growing street-art collection.

The other most significant reason to be careful when pointing a camera toward the sun is because the camera's lens can act like a magnifying glass and focus the sun's rays into a minimal area on the camera's shutter.

My eye isn't beautifull enough to be regarded as beautifull, but it surely is a masterpiece of nature's engineering. . . .

This is a small low sculptural relief with found and made objects. Some of the parquetry pattern wooden pieces were left over from bits of furniture for example.
1:1 macro of iris, cropped. This image shows the anterior surface of the iris with several visible Cripts of Fuchs. Note the irregular teeth-like edge of the boundary of the pupil.

Yes! what you see here is the human eye in extreme macro.
The brown area (which varies in color) is the IRIS which is the donut shaped portion situated just in front of the lens. He we can see the Constrictor MUSCLES which contract or dilate on order to let more/less light pass into the lens.
PUPIL is the hole in the centre of the Iris which allows light to pass into the lens
