Got one of my Hawaiian ladies out for the mirror subject. Somehow it looked better in bw, in spite of the busy wallpaper. I bought the mirror at Christmas from the tree decoration section of a shop. I knew it would come in handy one day.

Hula is located in Northern Israel between the Golan Heights and Nezer Hill. There's plenty of water there and this is why some 500 million birds stop at Hula every year for a short break on their long way from Europe to Africa and back.
Week 23: Dancing
Welcome to the dancing hula hoop challenge week! I spent 9€ in three hula hoop at the beginning of the week, and it was the best money invested lately. A cheap toy with a great value and assured fun!! Dancing hula hoop links generations. Brings nice memories to grandma's form their childhood and teach to use it to the youngest. Every friend and familiar we meet these days asked to give a try.
Ah and a game that allows you to keep the security distance when playing ;)

The Hula Valley is an agricultural region in northern Israel with abundant fresh water. It is a major stopover for birds migrating along the Syrian-African Rift Valley between Africa, Europe, and Asia. The marshland around Lake Hula, a breeding ground for mosquitoes carrying malaria, was drained in the 1950s. A small section of the valley was later reflooded in an attempt to revive a nearly extinct ecosystem. An estimated 500 million migrating birds now pass through the Hula Lake Park every year.

First of all, your eyes are just fine! ;-) I accidentally deleted the ones that were "clear" and all I had left for my Project 365 was this one. Anyhoo, tonight CE and I went to our first hula lesson. We've always wanted to take up Hula/Tahitian dance so when AC's friend's mom told me about this place that teaches hula & Tahitian we thought we'd give it a try. Being our first time we had a lot of fun . . . had problems with my hip movements because every part of my body wanted to move as well. . . it was hard to "plant" my feet on the ground, bend my knees and shift the hip from side to side and round and round to form a figure 8. I have no problem "dancing" but Hula is whole new thing that my body will have to get used to. Luckily we didn't have to move our arms and hands or else they would have been flapping all over the place. ;-) CE and I will try to commit ourselves to this new found interest . . . the classes are held every Monday in the evening. . . this was taken at the dance studio . . .
