I saw this fence at Radiator Springs, a Disney attraction at California Adventure. Very interesting and quite strong. I don't think too many would attempt to climb over.

Late 1930's or early 1940's era. I couldn't resist; bought 'em all. My husband loves them. We hung them on our garage.

Spiral Staircase in the Vatican Museum, Rome. It is actually a double helix. Designed in 1932 by Giuseppe Momo, the staircase is composed of two different spirals -- one to walk up to the exhibits, and one to leave the museum.

Ken & I went to one estate sale a while back that had a huge collection of hubcaps! It was pretty amazing to see!

Not often you see wheel trims on cars this new!

Unknown hubcap. Material is metal, must be a 15" hubcap (didn't measure yet)

this used to be my license plate wall until today. Put on some of my favourite hubcaps. Not cleaned yet because I had no time. And some new huge picture frames to put some photos in ^^

The hub cap was made of stainless steel while the spinner itself is chrome plated and bolted to the hubcap in a specified postion with the lettering facing the valve stem. If it's not, then it's incorrectly assembled. And the 1958 hubcap is unique in that it has no cooling slots that were added in the 1959 model year.

As a side note, the correct tires for a 1958 Corvette would have 3 inch whitewalls while this is 1-1/2 inches wide. But unlike today, most cars in the 1950's had whitewall tires.
