Son7, a seven-piece band from Connecticut, can take you back to the days of Hector Lavoe and bring you forward to the sounds of Coldplay with their unique salsa rendition of Clocks. This dynamic band is a combination of Latin Rock and Salsa.
Edwin Rivera Jr. is the founder, pianist, and arranger of the band. He brings with him an edgy, yet smooth sound on the piano keys that one can't help but notice. "I feel that Salsa is my calling, but I wanted to bring my love for other styles of music such as Rock and Alternative. I decided to put those two elements together to create a new sound that still keeps that upbeat Latin rhythm that I love so much" says Edwin Rivera Jr. (EJ)
The singer Edwin Rivera, former singer of Eddy/Eddy, compliments the band with his dynamic vocals and guitar. His experience behind the microphone can be heard in recordings with Fania's Evolution band and in Eddy/Eddy's Llegando a La Distancia where it can be found on iTunes.
The group is made of up of quality musicians that work in perfect harmony together. From the hip shaking, tribal flavor of the percussion, to the melodic flow of the brass, their music is meant for dancing.
Son7 has all the ingredients to make even the most diverse crowds come together. Their performance at Two Boots in Bridgeport, CT showed their mass appeal. The audience cheered, applauded, and demanded an encore. It's obvious that their motivation is pleasing the crowd and they won't stop until they have accomplished just that. -Zen

Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is located in the village at the foothills of Nandi Hills,in Bangalore Rural district (60 KM away from downtown).
The original Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple was built in the 9th century and is a magnificent example of Dravidian Architecture. It is a 1000 year old temple that bears the architectural stamps of around five different dynasties that ruled here. Believed to have been originally constructed by the Bana Queen Ratnavali, this temple was added to and extended by the Ganga dynasty, Cholas, Hoysalas, Pallavas and finally the Vijayanagara kings. This temple even has a statue of the Chola King Rajendra.
Though the original Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple dedicated to Shiva and Parvati was built in the 9th century by the Banas, the Chola kings in the 11th century added the roof; the Hoysala dynasty added the marriage hall to the temple structure and the outer wall and buildings were added by the Vijayanagar kings in the 13th century. For centuries it was impregnable until the British stormed it in the October of 1791, and defeated Tipu Sultan.

Nach Foul an Christopher Maucha brachte Michael Schmidt den SCB per Elfmeter in Führung. Und kurz darauf sorgten die Schiener-Schützlinge mit einer herrlichen Kombination auf der linken Seite über Patrik Pomichal, Christoph Monschein und Roberto Stessl für den zweiten Treffer. Ein sehenswerter Schmidt-Weitschuss zum 3:0 war bereits der Endstand in einem vor allem in der ersten halben Stunde sehr guten Testspiel. Nach der Pause flachte die Partie ab und wurde ruppiger und gehässiger. In der völlig unnötig aufgeheizten Stimmung verlor Maucha die Nerven und flog vom Platz. Wenig später der nächste negative Höhepunkt der zweiten Spielhälfte: David Haselmayer bekam bei einem Foul einen Schlag auf den Rist und musste ebenfalls vorzeitig vom Feld. Die Partie beruhigte sich danach, weitere Tore fielen aber nicht mehr. Weiterer Wermutstropfen: Auch René Blau musste nach einer Stunde wegen Muskelproblemen passen. Boston, officially the City of Boston, is the capital and largest city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the cultural and financial center of the New England region of the Northeastern United States. "Located 20m to the North of Pit 1 at the Eastern end, Pit 2 is in "L" shape. This pit was discovered in April 1976, covering an area of 6,000sq.m. It measures 124m long from East to West, 98m wide from North to South and 5m deep.
Different from Pit 1, Pit 2 consists of mixed military forces in four arrays: archers, war chariots, cavalrymen and infantrymen. The four arrays seemed to exist independently, but could be assembled immediately to constitute a complete battle formation during the war times. This reflects the unique strategy of Qin military affairs.
The excavation work of Pit 2 is still continuing. At present a large area of the remnants of the roof beams and small part of the pottery warriors and horses are being exhibited in the pit. The Porte de Hal (French) or Hallepoort (Dutch) is a medieval fortified city gate of the second walls of Brussels.
Built in 1381, Halle Gate is a 14th century city gate from the second set of defensive walls that enclosed Brussels. The gate was named for the city of Halle (French: Hal) in Flemish Brabant which it faces.
The original gate included a portcullis and drawbridge over a moat. The structures that housed these are still visible.
While the other six gateways and the defensive walls were demolished, the Halle Gate survived as it was used as a prison. It was at other times used as a customs house, for grain storage, and a Lutheran church.
19th Century Restoration
The architect Henri Beyaert restored the building between 1868 and 1870, changing the austere medieval tower with more romantic Neo Gothic embellishments. The outer entrance, now facing Saint-Gilles, is closer to the original appearance. In front of the inner gate, facing the city of Brussels, Beyaert added a circular tower topped by a conical roof, containing a monumental spiral staircase. Beyaert also added turrets and a large roof.
Museum
In 1847 the Halle Gate became part of Belgium's Musée Royal d'Armures, d'Antiquités et d'Ethnologie (Museum of Armour, Antiquity and Ethnology), now named the Royal Museums for Art and History. By 1889, the Halle Gate was too small to house most of the collection, and most was relocated to the Cinquantenaire Museum. It continued to display armour and weapons.
In 1976, the building was in a dangerous state of disrepair and was closed. Finally renovations began, and the Gate was reopened in 1991. Further restoration was stalled by lack of money, and the museum only housed temporary exhibitions.
In March 2007 a new extensive restoration was begun. The Halle Gate finally reopened on June 6, 2008. Finally the St Gilles (drawbridge) entrance was opened as the prestigious main entrance to the building. The museum includes exhibits about the history of the building, and of the city of Brussels and its defence. The collection includes the parade armor of Archduke Albert of Austria (1559-1621). The main parts of the museum, each on a separate floor, are:

L'animation se met à empiler les maisons individuelles et propose des bâtiments collectifs dans des jardins. Le commentaire poursuit : maintenant c'est l'heure de l'urbaniste à lui de répartir les constructions dans la cité. Plusieurs organisation de logements collectifs sont proposées en maquettes. La voix off pointe les défauts d'un urbanisme des grands ensemble trop ennuyeux. Puis une solution émerge de l'animation : pour que la cité vive il faut mettre au place d'honneur école, dispensaire, bibliothèque, salle de réunion, puis viennent les deux pièces maîtresse deux grands immeubles puis les rues se glissent dans la composition et enfin les pelouse et les jardins apparaissent et voila conclue le commentaire. Le film montre ensuite de réalisation de grands ensemble et on entre dans un immeuble au sein d'une famille : air et lumière sont au rendes-vous. On voit des enfants faire du patin à roulette dans le parc de l'immeuble la voix off annonce : finit l'individualisme renfrogné de l'échoppe d'antan : la cité tout entière est un jardin, les jeux d'enfants se mêlent aux fleurs. Le film se termine sur des vues de réalisation de grands ensemble sur toute la France (vue entre autre de la cité radieuse de Le Corbusier à Marseille). Der FK Austria Wien ist erwartungsgemäß mit einem Sieg in die Testspiel-Serie der Sommer-Vorbereitung gestartet. Die Violetten siegten beim SC Ortmann klar mit 7:0.
Trainer Peter Stöger begann gegen den Klub aus der Gebietsliga mit einem offensiv ausgerichteten 4-3-3-System, das sich auch dementsprechend auf dem Platz präsentierte. Auch wenn der Gegner, der die Saison am Wochenende als Tabellenzweiter beendet hatte, nicht wirklich ein harter Prüfstein war. Aber in dieser Phase der Saison, die erst vor zwei Tagen für die Veilchen begonnen hat, war es genau richtig.
Die Spieler schonten sich nicht, suchten die Zweikämpfe, wollten sich vor dem neuen Trainer natürlich gut präsentieren. 20 Minuten konnten die Ortmanner mithalten, ehe der Riegel der Gastgeber nach einer schönen Aktion geknackt wurde: Neuzugang Dare Vrsic, der über die rechten Mittelfeld-Position agierte, spielte Tomas Jun mustergültig an der Strafraumgrenze an, der Tscheche nahm sich den Ball perfekt mit und traf per Flachschuß ins rechte Eck (22.).
Nur zwei Minuten später legte Leovac von der linken Flanke für Simkovic auf, der sich ebenfalls diese gute Möglichkeit nicht nehmen ließ (24.).
Zur Pause wurde gewechselt, kamen Kardum, Rotpuller, Mader, Gorgon und Harrer. Heimkehrer Lukas Rotpuller konnte dabei gleich eine Portion Selbstvertrauen tanken, er drückte Vrsic' Stangenschuß endgültig über die Linie (57.).
Danach nützte Marko Stankovic ein Gastgeschenk der Ortmanner Hintermannschaft mit einem sehenswerten Heber zum 4:0 (62.), das 5:0 setzte er nur eineinhalb Minuten später drauf.
Letztendlich kam auch noch Dare Vrsic nach guter Leistung zu einem zählbaren Erfolgserlebnis, er markierte das 6:0 mit einem trockenen Schuß knapp innerhalb des Sechzehners (69.), Martin Harrer machte nur drei Minuten später mit einer Kopie des Vrsic-Treffers Tor Nr. 7.
Noch gibt es freilich überall viel Luft nach oben, aber nach den ersten zwei intensiven Trainingstagen kann man sich logischerweise auch noch kein perfektes Spiel erwarten.
Kommentar Peter Stöger: "Für uns war es eine gute Bewegungstherapie und eine gute Trainingseinheit. Mit den sieben Toren bin ich soweit zufrieden, aber ich habe auch Dinge gesehen, die ich verändern möchte. Gratulation an die Gastgeber, sie haben uns mit einem sehr guten Rasen perfekte Bedingungen geschaffen."
