A very cloudy evening, solid cloud cover, a little drizzle, crappy conditions at first sight. A Cokin Blue Yellow Varicolor Polarizer later along with a Cokin Graduated 3-stop Neutral Density Filter, and a B+W 6-stop Neutral Density Filter later, this image was born.

Dimanche après-midi, le DAL (Droit Au Logement) a occupé un gymnase rue du Renard pendant quelques heures. Après la promesse d'un rendez-vous avec Delanoë la semaine prochaine, les 150 à 200 militants et familles ont quitté les lieux vers 20h30, après une brève manifestation jusqu'à la place de l'Hôtel de Ville.
Dans le gymnase, les enfants passent le temps en jouant, sautant des espaliers sur les matelas.

Die FlĂ¶ĂŸerbrĂ¼cke ist eine StraĂŸenbrĂ¼cke Ă¼ber den Main in Frankfurt am Main. Sie verbindet die Obermainanlage in der Innenstadt mit dem Deutschherrnufer in Sachsenhausen. Als einzige Frankfurter MainbrĂ¼cke Ă¼berquert sie den Fluss nicht im rechten Winkel, sondern in einem Winkel von ca. 70 Grad zur FlieĂŸrichtung des Mains. Es ist zudem die einzige von einem Pylon getragene StraĂŸenbrĂ¼cke in der Frankfurter Innenstadt.
Die erste FlĂ¶ĂŸerbrĂ¼cke entstand 1964 als Provisorium, um während der Sanierung der etwas westlich gelegenen Alten BrĂ¼cke den Verkehr aufzunehmen. Die heutige BrĂ¼cke wurde 1984 bis 1986 erbaut.
Die FlĂ¶ĂŸerbrĂ¼cke ist EinbahnstraĂŸe in nördlicher Richtung. Ăœber die BrĂ¼cke verläuft die BundesstraĂŸe 3.

A carefree word here to adhere
For knitting down the gist
Inside heart-roots gone austere
Like a love that begins from inside
And brings out a beautiful bright
Like a ray that in a shade might hide
Or a beam in an evening's flight
Give same love life’s giving about
Though sideways are with bare trees
And the morning is still in its doubt
For the coming of summer's breeze

Iceland most famous geyser, at.... Geysir ! Its name is Strokkur and it shots quite often and regularly, maybe about every 5-10 mn or so. Usually, the first burst is followed by a second, smaller one, but in some instances, they are almost simultaneous, like in this shot.
The main geyser, called Geysir, is bigger but only fires once or twice a year apparently (thanks to Arnitr for the clarification :-)
