It is a genus of about 500 species of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae. Members of the genus are known as buttercups, spearworts and water crowfoots. The familiar and widespread buttercup of gardens throughout Northern Europe (and introduced elsewhere) is the creeping buttercup Ranunculus repens, which has extremely tough and tenacious roots. Two other species are also widespread, the bulbous buttercup Ranunculus bulbosus and the much taller meadow buttercup Ranunculus acris. All three are often regarded as invasive weeds. Buttercups usually flower in the spring, but flowers may be found throughout the summer, especially where the plants are growing as opportunistic colonizers, as in the case of garden weeds. The water crowfoots (Ranunculus subgenus Batrachium), which grow in still or running water, are sometimes treated in a separate genus Batrachium. They have two different leaf types, thread-like leaves underwater and broader floating leaves. In some species, such as R. aquatilis, a third, intermediate leaf type occurs. Ranunculus species are used as food by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including the Hebrew character and small angle shades. Some species are popular ornamental flowers in horticulture, with many cultivars selected for large and brightly coloured flowers. Buttercups are mostly perennial, but occasionally annual or biennial, herbaceous, aquatic or terrestrial plants, often with leaves in a rosette at the base of the stem. In many perennial species runners are sent out that will develop new plants with roots and rosettes at the distanced nodes. 24799
Irlanda - Anillo de Kerry - Acantilados
ENGLISH:
The Ring of Kerry (Irish: Mórchuaird Chiarraí) is a 179-km-long circular tourist route in County Kerry, south-western Ireland. Clockwise from Killarney it follows the N71 to Kenmare, then the N70 around the Iveragh Peninsula to Killorglin – passing through Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen, and Glenbeigh – before returning to Killarney via the N72.
Popular points include Muckross House (near Killarney), Staigue stone fort and Derrynane House, home of Daniel O'Connell. Just south of Killarney, Ross Castle, Lough Leane, and Ladies View (a panoramic viewpoint), all located within Killarney National Park, are major attractions located along the Ring. A more complete list of major attractions along the Ring of Kerry includes: Gap of Dunloe, Bog Village, Dunloe Ogham Stones, Kerry Woollen Mills, Rossbeigh Beach, Cahersiveen Heritage Centre, Derrynane House, Skellig Experience, Staigue Fort, Kenmare Lace, Moll's Gap, Ballymalis Castle, Ladies View, Torc Waterfall, Muckross House, The Blue Pool, Ross Castle, Ogham Stones, St Mary’s Cathedral, Muckross Abbey, Franciscan Friary, Kellegy Church, O’Connell Memorial Church, Sneem Church and Cemetery, Skellig Michael, Beehive Cells and the Stone Pillars marking an important grave.
There is also an established walking path named The Kerry Way, which takes its own route, and a signposted Ring of Kerry cycling path which uses older quieter roads where possible. The Kerry Way roughly follows the scenic driving route of the Ring of Kerry.
There are numerous variations to the route taking in St. Finian's Bay and Valentia Island which the official driving ring misses (the official cycling route takes in Valentia Island). As well as beaches, it also offers the Gap of Dunloe, Bog Village, Derrynane House, the Skellig Experience Valentia Island, Molls Gap, Torc Waterfall, Muckross House, and Ross Castle.
"The Ring" is a popular day trip and numerous bus companies offer circuits during the summer months. As the narrow roads make it difficult for tour coaches to pass, all tour buses run in an anti-clockwise (or counter-clockwise) direction, traveling via Killorglin first.

El Anillo de Kerry (en inglés, Ring of Kerry) es un circuito turístico situado en el condado de Kerry, en el suroeste de Irlanda. Este circuito cubre 170 km de carretera, formando un círculo que comienza en Killarney, flanqueando la península de Iveragh. Pasa por Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen y Killorglin, antes de volver a Killarney nuevamente desde el sur, y bordeando los lagos de Killarney y el Parque Nacional de Killarney.
Algunos de sus atractivos turísticos son Muckross House (una mansión cerca de Killarney), el fuerte de piedra de Staigue y Derrynane House, casa natal de Daniel O'Connell. Waterville es famosa por haber albergado durante varios veranos a Charles Chaplin, y el pueblo le dedicó una estatua que ahora puede observarse junto a la playa. Los circuitos en autobús se realizan siempre en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj, para evitar que dos de ellos se crucen en las estrechas carreteras que componen el anillo.
También hay numerosas excursiones interesantes por el interior del anillo, menos transitadas. Existe la opción de recorrer el anillo en bicicleta o andando, en varias jornadas, así como la posibilidad de realizar excursiones organizadas que combinan barca, bicicleta y rutas a pie.

Το χωρίο αυτό περιγράφει την πρώτη πράξη του Θεού στην αρχή της δημιουργίας και την πρώτη μέρα του Θεού στην οποία υπήρχε ένα απόγευμα και ένα πρωί. Αλλά ήταν μια εξαιρετική μέρα: ο Θεός άρχισε να ετοιμάζει το φως για όλα τα πράγματα και, επιπλέον, διαχώρισε το φως από το σκοτάδι. Εκείνη τη μέρα, ο Θεός άρχισε να μιλά και ο λόγος Του με τη εξουσία Του ήταν πλάι–πλάι. Η εξουσία Του άρχισε να ξεχωρίζει από όλα τα πράγματα και η δύναμή Του εξαπλώθηκε σε όλα τα πράγματα σαν αποτέλεσμα του λόγου Του. Η ύπαρξή του αποδεικνύει την εξουσία και τη δύναμη του Θεού και διακηρύσσει την ύπαρξη του Δημιουργού, και επιβεβαιώνει ξανά και ξανά την ταυτότητα και τη θέση του Δημιουργού. Δεν είναι απροσδιόριστο, ούτε απατηλό, αλλά είναι ένα αληθινό φως, ορατό από τον άνθρωπο. Από τη στιγμή εκείνη και μετά, σ’ αυτόν τον άδειο κόσμο στον οποίο «η δε γη ήτο άμορφος και έρημος· και σκότος επί του προσώπου της αβύσσου», παρήχθη το πρώτο υλικό αγαθό. Αυτό το πράγμα είναι αποτέλεσμα των λέξεων από το στόμα του Θεού και εμφανίστηκε στην πρώτη πράξη της δημιουργίας όλων των πραγμάτων από τη εξουσία και τον λόγο του Θεού. Λίγο μετά, ο Θεός πρόσταξε να ξεχωρίσει το φως από το σκοτάδι… Όλα άλλαξαν και ολοκληρώθηκαν χάρη στον λόγο του Θεού… Ο Θεός αποκάλεσε αυτό το φως «Μέρα» και το σκοτάδι «Νύχτα». Από τότε, το πρώτο απόγευμα και το πρώτο πρωινό δημιουργήθηκαν στον κόσμο που ο Θεός ήθελε να δημιουργήσει και ο Θεός είπε ότι αυτή ήταν η πρώτη μέρα. Αυτή η μέρα ήταν η πρώτη μέρα της δημιουργίας όλων των πραγμάτων από τον Δημιουργό, ήταν η αρχή της δημιουργίας όλων των πραγμάτων και η πρώτη φορά που φάνηκε η εξουσία και η δύναμη του Δημιουργού σ’ αυτόν τον κόσμο που Εκείνος δημιούργησε. ...»
