Dies ist einer dieser Spots, bei denen wohl so einige Faktoren mitspielen müssen, um das Motiv wirkungsvoll in Szene zu setzen. Gestern allerdings waren wir erst einmal zufrieden damit, den Platz überhaupt gefunden zu haben! 😅
Niedrigwasser und eine Nebelwand, die das gegenüberliegende Ufer ausblendet, wären wohl ideal! Als wir gestern dort waren herrschte aber gerade Hochwasser, und für Nebel haben wir gerade sowieso die falsche Jahreszeit!
Die einzige Möglichkeit, den Horizont nicht durch das Wrack schneiden zu lassen war, mit dem langen Tele vom Gehweg aus herab zu fotografieren.
Das Bild ist so natürlich sehr clean, denn das etwas weiter rechts liegende Uferzeichen in Form eines Pfeils (Wie nennt man die eigentlich wirklich?) bekommt man so unmöglich mit aufs Bild. Mir gefällt es dennoch, und wenn der nächste Nebel kommt…

Taking on a Load of wheat at Richardson's International Main Elevator Port of Thunder Bay .
MARIA G (IMO: 9358369) is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2007 (15 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Malta.
It’s carrying capacity is 37249 t DWT and her current draught is reported to be 5.7 meters. Her length overall (LOA) is 199.9 meters and her width is 23.7 meters.
In 2014, Richardsons announced that it had more than doubled its capacity in the Port of Thunder Bay by purchasing and re-opening the “Current River Terminal”, formerly part of Viterra Inc. and located near Richardson’s original “Heritage Terminal”. The Viterra elevator had not been used in three years and required cleanup and repairs. Both terminals are nearby one another on the Current River section of the waterfront.
While there aren’t as many grain elevators as there once were, Thunder Bay still has the largest grain storage capacity in North America and hundreds of thousands of tonness of wheat, canola, soybeans, flax and oats are stored in silos before being shipped.
The Current River Terminal has a storage capacity of 235,000 tonnes, while the Heritage Terminal holds 208,000 tonnes. This makes for a combined storage capacity of 443,000 tonnes.

Hamnøy is a small fishing village in the municipality of Moskenes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the eastern side of Moskenesøya, about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) northeast of Reine, along the Vestfjorden. Hamnøy was previously connected to Reine by ferry, but this was replaced by bridges on the European route E10 highway as part of the Lofoten Mainland Connection.

Slightly smaller than a herring gull, the lesser black-backed gull has a dark grey to black back and wings, yellow bill and yellow legs. Their world population is found entirely in Europe. After declines in the 19th century due to persecution they increased their range and numbers. This expansion has now halted and there is serious concern about declines in many parts of its range. The species is on the Amber List because the UK is home to 40% of the European population and more than half of these are found at fewer than ten sites.

Where to see them
Found around the UK's coastline in summer and on some inland high moors. The biggest UK colony is on Walney Island, Cumbria, with a staggering one third of the UK population. More than half the UK population is found at fewer than ten sites. They are increasingly common in urban habitats, even in inland locations such as the West Midlands. In winter it is mainly found from southern Scotland southwards, and is best looked for feeding over fields and at rubbish tips, congregating at large reservoir roosts each evening.
When to see them
All year round. UK breeding sites are left in July and August and birds start to return as early as December. Large numbers of Scandinavian birds, which are darker than UK breeding birds, start to arrive in October.

Omnivore - scavenges a wide range of food.

Actually clouds are to be on everyone's lips. This fact gives me the inspiration to create a contest. Please have a look www.flickr.com/groups/ngproinvitation/discuss/72157623873...
During this hike we touch the cloud a few times. Inside it's foggy and cold and you feel the wish arise to reach the sun as soon as possible.
I spend a lot of time for postprocessing. The overexposured clouds lets me doubt that it's not worthy for do work on it. But I found a way to recover it with the Capture NX Raw converter. There is a possibility to adjust the exposure there. So I did three different exposures from one raw and blended it after.
From Malbun we have the choice of hiking up or taking the chairlift to the mountain station at Sareis. From there, the Fürstin-Gina-Weg path follows the ridge path to the Sareiserjoch, where it runs into the ascending route from the Nenzinger Himmel and the path becomes more challenging. From here it's uphill between alpine flowers and along small craggy paths to the highest point of the tour, Augstenberg, at 2,359 meters above sea level with a large cross on the peak and a glorious sweeping view. The following ridge path to Pfälzerhütte (hut) is challenging, sometimes steep and secured with wire ropes at exposed parts.

St. Agnes was certainly not the largest or most ornate of Detroit’s Catholic churches. It did however anchor a neighborhood that thrived with activity, and hosted Mother Theresa in 1981. 1,500 people packed the church to hear her speak; afterwards she insisted that the donuts, cakes and coffee that had been provided be given to the poor instead. 12th Avenue has struggled to rebuild in the wake of the 1967 riots, but is starting to show signs of life, with new housing sprouting up across the street and a new shopping center near Clairmount Ave. St. Agnes has the potential to anchor the neighborhood again.

1º - Pincel 3 em 1: Amooooo! pra pentear sobrancelhas e cílios e chanfrado na outra ponta, a ponta do chanfrado é ótima, é firme, fininho, não abre e ainda é macio!
Do 2º até o 7º são pincéis pra esfumar sombra, pro côncavo, o da Mary Kay é ótimo pra quem não tem muita prática e pra quem tem o côncavo raso, não espalha de mais a sombra. O da Melligirl é bom só pra quem tem o côncavo mais profundo e pra aplicar iluminador no rosto, # 224 da MAC é insubstituível, perfeito pra esfumar, mas pra quem tem o côncavo raso é um pouco grande. O tamanho do da Sigma é perfeito pra qualquer côncavo.
Os dois branquinhos são ótimos pra espalhar a sombra na pálpebra e finalizar o degradê.
O chanfrado da sigma não tem as cerdas juntinhas, é bom mais pra esfumar lápis e pra dar acabamento, o retinho da sigma nem conto pra vc o q eu faço com ele... Mentira conto sim.... rs... passo corretivo cremoso na linha d'água pra aumentar os olhos! Fica muuuuito bom, é muito preciso
Do E 20 da sigma ao #219 da MAC eu uso pra esfumar o lápis
E a minha decepção: # 266, MAC sempre machuca minhas clientes, só dá pra usar na sobrancelha mesmo.
Os quatro seguintes eu uso pra concentrar sombra na pálpebra, nenhuma reclamação de nenhum deles.
O da Pro Art é excelente pra espalhar sombra cremosa.
E o último é pra delinear, mas é na verdade pra decorar unhas!!! Perfeito...
