#howididthat (1) @myna_bacq had a really great pic in her feed full of color and emotion. I was inspired. (2) I used #tinyplanet to get the twirl effect. (3) Brought that into #kyoobic chose the style tab/oobic shapes. Made the page behind it black. (4) went into #photostudiofx used the invert filter. Then used the hue green hue red and hue purple filters to paint on where I needed a splash of color (pro tip: every filter in photostudiofx fx can be put over the whole image OR painted on specifically where you want. Once you've selected a filter, press the paintbrush icon in the lower right to selectively brush in the filter) (5) went to #camera+ added the nostalgia filter to add a slight bit of grain/grunge (6) used juxtaposer to "stamp" in the image of the guy in the suit. (juxtaposer is a brilliant app for layering but to explain the stamping process I'd need a day lol. In my kitchen sink I placed two mirrors. One large about 10x14 and the other a little make-up mirror. A piece of white cardboard behind as a neutral background.I played around with this idea and used the lights up on the coffee containers, leaves up and down. Drops only on the branch using rainx first to spray then dropped with eyedropper. Also I used the water from the sink for some shots. Finally, to get the photo I entered I just poured the water from my measuring cup. I had more leaves when I shot this now the maple trees are bare. I did use the silk leaves as you see here.

I Made around 57 photos and this one was almost last but I didnt use the pour method in the first ones.

HATE THAT YOUR IPHONE TAKES RECTANGLE PHOTOS AND IG ONLY LIKES SQUARES??? #ae_tips get squaready app. Click the third button on the bottom. Then the first. This allows you to see your shot in all it's glory. You can chose colors with the first button. This not only adds a pop art feel to your shots, it gives you a design space to add details (example: the man and logo in this pic) happy editing.

camelliaheart: I love square ready! I use it alot and I like how other apps are prompted for further tweaking without having to reload !

Steps going from upper left, counter clockwise:

1) used fractal photo on a black and white manga picture. 2) used neon motion to add neon lines in all colors. 3) ran thru fractal photo again 4) tinyplanet app with the left button. 5) also tinyplanet app with right button. 6) icoloramaS app to blend them together, and used juxtaposer to add my suit guy stamp.

1) original pic 2) toonpaint, raise the blackness levels. 3) layered in an existing abstract with blendr, and used a stripped the color out of the bottom with a pixlromatic filter. 4) used space paint to add the blue graffiti-esque paint to resemble a crashing wave.
