El Gran Hotel Bali de Benidorm, en la provincia de Alicante, fue inaugurado el 17 de mayo del año 2002, y es el segundo hotel más alto de Europa y fue el edificio más alto de España desde que sobrepasó a la Torre Picasso hasta noviembre de 2006, fecha en que fue sobrepasado por la Torre Espacio.
Tiene un total de 186 metros, a pesar de que el plan parcial de construcción preveía una altura de 210 metros.
La instalación es de cuatro estrellas, y cuenta con 52 plantas en las que se encuentran: 776 habitaciones, doce de ellas suites, 68 suites junior y otros diez dormitorios sin barreras arquitectónicas.
El Gran Hotel Bali, que está ubicado en La Cala de Benidorm, empezó a construirse en 1990, con un presupuesto próximo a los 2.000 millones de pesetas, y su estructura quedó terminada diez años después. A partir de ese momento dio comienzo la fase de habilitación y decoración de dependencias, distribuidas en dos edificios.

Until the end of the Old Regime, the French word hôtel had several meanings, however, at that time the retronym hôtel particulier appeared to specifically designate these private mansions.

There is something fascinated about old and abandoned buildings. The touch of time and weather on them usually makes them look like haunted and sometimes as you see them, you are wondering how they looked like on their prime days. When man abandons, nature takes over. And maybe this old hotel in Aigina is far from being considered a picturesque and good looking structure, but the peeling paint and its bright colors caught my eye. Oh and i see some windows too and guess what? today is Wednesday.. HWW everybody! stay safe.

In der historischen Altstadt befinden sich zahlreiche, teilweise bereits im 17. Jahrhundert errichtete, Fachwerkhäuser. Viele von ihnen weisen Hausinschriften auf, die neben dem Namen des ersten Eigentümers und des Erbauungsjahres oftmals auch einen Spruch enthalten. Das älteste Gebäude in der Altstadt ist die nach dem Brand von 1605 wieder aufgebaute und von den späteren Feuern verschont gebliebene Steinbergsche Mühle in der Mühlenstraße. Das im Jahre 1888 als Logierhaus errichtete Gildehaus und das 1898/99 erbaute Hotel Kronprinz gehören zu den bekanntesten Gebäuden der Stadt.
