There was this hot pink star magnolia at the park in my town. Today (4/2), it was so cold (36F) and windy. I was actually shivering when shooting. :-))
This fascinating Coneflower (Echinacea) cultivar is a new addition to my garden, just in time for unusually high temperatures for June. Thank goodness cooler temperatures with rain have arrived, since I'm not a fan of heat.

Walkers strolling along the Boardwalk in the Yellowstone's Midway Geyser Basin. The Grand Prismatic Spring is magnificent as seen from the chalky, steep, treacherous hill to it's SW.
The Opal and Turquoise pools are above it with the Excelsior pool steaming to the right.

Sauna finlandais : 30 mn dans la vapeur à 90°C du sauna, puis quelques secondes dans la rivière à travers un trou dans la glace (... en bas à droite).
Le plus dur : descendre pieds nus (... le reste aussi quasiment ...) jusqu'à la rivière sur une pente glacée ...

This was one I took a while ago, last Summer in fact, fully intending to put into the DCD collection however, upon review I realised it was all a bit too sparkly and pretty for the darker side of things. I found these lights on a walkabout casually wrapped around a gatepost, they didn't seem to be serving much of a purpose, as no one was around, bar me, to appreciate them, so took the opportunity to turn them into something more other than be sat there being glittery.
Hope everyone is well and recovering from it all and so as always, thank you! :)

We're just a couple of weeks past the summer solstice now and on the downhill slide to winter. The days are noticeably shorter already but I'm glad the days are still hot enough to complain how hot it is.
This image taken on a late evening stroll alongside the bay, where it was great to cool off. I liked the story implied by these two people sharing the moment together.
