Red-bellied woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus) at Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge. The wooded areas proved to be quite a birding wonderland. The refuge sports the Arkansas River at its northern edge and several ox-bow lakes within. The rolling white Toyota bird blind proved itself along the roads.
