#5shotchallenge ••• #flora

I'm officially having fun with this Flora challenge. Even though all of the flora shots that I'm posting are shot with roughly the same combo, rest assured that I have been attacking this challenge from all angles and with a ton of combos. It just so happens that I prefer my flora symmetrical, and on the monotone side.

This shot::

yup, you guessed it… I shot this with #Salvador84 + #RockBW11, snipped of the edges, zipped it through #Geló a couple times, and then overlaid some #ndapatterns to finish it off.

I'm pretty sure that these qualify as flora. And if they don't... it won't be the first time that I've broken a few rules.

Shot with what seems to be my go to flora combo, #Salvador84 + #RockBW11, then chopped off the border & slapped some color geometrics on top using #Geló.

psssst.... don't tell @lauriekeiko, but I picked these foxy tails from the side of her house.

Shot on iphone 5 in hipstamatic with Jane and Supergrain combo. Edited in Tadaa with tilt shift, U-Bahn filter and clarity tool.

Taken with hipstamatic, edit with blender, pixlr express and afterlight.

Just a little bit altered for Sliders Sunday.

Since my office moved to this new downtown location, we have to park in a parking garage. I usually drive straight to the top level -- easier to find a spot and the view is way better. So here is the view from the top deck and four more versions in the comment section. All with iPhone, of course. This may not be a great photography, but it is a great fun. HSS!

I love the EXIF Flickr is showing for this photo. I took this on my Oly EM-1, with the M.12-40 F2.8.

Using wi-fi, I saved this to my iPhone, and edited it using one of my favorite combos using the newly updated Hipstamatic 300.

There are Hipstamatic purists that don't like the direction Hipstamatic has gone with 300, and I thought I was going to be one of them. After playing with it, however, I think I'm going to like this update. I love how this shot turned out, and I would never have been able to process it this way before Hipsta300.

Photo by AMPt Member Frank Mathews (IG: @nitti80) Title: Transformation Description: This is a photo of the Captrust Tower one of the coolest buildings in Raleigh, NC. I shot this on my way home from work. When I go out and shoot I always try to have a general idea on the different equipment (apps) lol that I'll be using to shoot with and an idea about what I'm going to shoot. This saves me a great deal of time. For this shot I knew that I was going to be shooting with #hipstamatic. I always shoot the same subject with different hipsta combinations for two reasons. One because every combo doesn't work well in certain situations and two because I want to familiarize myself with the many different nuances Hipstamatic has. Continued.... Process: I used the #JohnS lens and Inas1969 so I could participate in @hipstaroll #Hipstaedit #hipstaroll_aprilfools_week44 #hipstaproject. I first opened The photo up in a cool little app called #ChipPhoto to get the "squares" to move. Once happy with the placement I saved. I opened the saved photo in #Camera+ and changed to B&W and saved. I wanted to keep the spirit of the hipsta combination recognizable so, I open the B&W version in #Filterstorm. I used the "add exposure" option and manually brushed in the signature John S colors on the tiles and and the sky as well. I also brushed in the the signature Inas boarder. Once done I used the sharpen option at 50%. And sharpened only the moved tiles using the brush. Once done I saved.
