A different perspective on one of the most famous lakes in Canada, Peyto Lake.

The outlet waters from this iconic lake form the Mistaya river, creating a beautiful chasm on it's way to the North Saskatchewan River. A few pics of the river in comments.

le Monastère de Varlaam.

il se trouve en face du grand Météores sur un grand rocher d une hauteur de 375m.

Les premiers ascètes dont le moine Varlaam montaient sur fes échelles accrochés grace à des trous dans le rocher.

The Monastery of Varlaam is opposite large the Meteors on a rock a height of 375m. the first ascetics whose Varlaam monk went up on scales hung thanks to holes in the rock.

hallo :-) wusste erst nicht ob ich euch mal die volle Szene vom "Hügel" zeigen sollte. Das Bild "the hill" war ja recht beschnitten weil mich der Baum links unten im Vordergrund gestört hatte. Irgendwie nimmt es dem eigentlichen Motiv die Wirkung. Aber die Stimmung an dem Morgen wolte ich euch jetzt doch nicht vorenthalten. Es war ein wunderbarer Morgen im Allgäu.....Grüssle Klaus

I share another pic taken from Steptoe Butte near Colfax in Washington State. I don't know how many pics I took but many. For me this is a very special place I was happy to revisit after a few years.
