Sawarna beach, Banten West Jawa

It was so windy on the coast on Saturday that I could hardly stand still to take this photo :-)

Many thanks for your visits, kind comments and faves, very much appreciated.

Imagine the power of the waves in stormy winter weather to be able to throw these huge driftwood roots etc. up onto the shore!!

Provincial Marine Park, BC, Canada

The Purples and pinks of the susnet over the Matanuska Valley reminded me of cotton candy. The orb in the sky isn't the sun. My back is actually to the sunset. That is the moon floating over Matsu

Stay safe

Worry not about the things that could go wrong. Instead wonder about all the things that could go right.

Thank you for your visit and kind comments... Have a happy new week my Flickr friends

Early morning beach.

Again I went to Sawarna Beach last weekend with some photographer friends,

Karang Layar, one of the beaches in Indonesia characterized by coral reefs, deposits from volcanoes in Sawarna. (Wikipedia)

The guy isn't walking on water ..:)this was taken during that extremely high, hightide. I was going to use this for Slider Sunday but It's really pretty calm. So, I guess it'll just be a colorful pic

Happy Sunday Everyone

Float homes are one solution that features truly waterfront living with ocean or river views at a fraction of the price of land-based homes. Neighbours include herons, sea lions, bald eagles and many other forms of wildlife. While this style of living may not be for everyone, float homes do come in single-family, apartment/condo, custom-built or modular pre-fabricated options. New models include amenities such as stainless-steel appliances, heated floors, soaker tubs, on-demand water heaters and even rooftop decks, and follow the stringent building codes, fire safety and environmental standards demanded by local, provincial and federal authorities. vancouversun.com/homes/westcoast-homes-and-design/float-h...

... because on this morning, the tide was too high for me to explore Woods Cove, a small beach in Laguna Beach. Next time perhaps I'll schedule our trip around the tides!

There were some lovely waves hitting the large rock formations as the tide came in at Whitburn

I watched as these two birds

barely flinched as the spray came to the top

A slightly slower shutter speed enabled me to capture the motion.

I'm sure you could come down these stairs at low tide and not get soaked... but at high tide, look out!

Juli 2005 in Betrieb.
