90s Mesa/Boogie 2 Channel Dual Rectifier Solo Head. Cleaned, output jack fixed, and re-assembled. Always preferred the old black powder coated diamond plate face to the chrome on the newer ones.
Today's illustrious visitor in the port of Funchal, the French BEM (Bâtiment d'Essais et de Mesures) Monge is currently one of a very few telecommunication vessels in the world, also used for space surveillance by the French Space Agency and intelligence collection.
The Monge is in a class of its own, notably well equipped and carrying state-of-the art measurement and observation devices enabling it to track, monitor and intercept data from missiles or satellites.
This is a detail of the main parabolic antenna (Radar) on the top deck, supplied by Thales Air System‎ in 2009, the Normandie as its called, is the largest (14,4 meters in diameter) aboard any ship in the world. Interestingly, the usual navy grey colour is replaced by white, so that the heat of the sun does not deform the dishes and interfere with comms.

This is likely the last image processed during a free trial of DXO optics pro. It is nifty and could be worth the price if only It covered more of the cameras I own.
Inspired by the work of others before me here is my experimental high gain long distance pocket wizard antenna setup. Based on initial calculations this should give the pocket wizards a range of 64 miles line of sight. And of course if we use on on each end the we get a theoretical 4,000 miles line of sight. That feels like a bit of overkill, but it good to know we can do it.
I found this pickup creates powerful mid-range sounds and I am so excited.

.: overlap in projects that can change both tools and processes are usually the successes. Though as they are projects they must have an "either/or" output focus: projects do better when they have *either* a 'technology' *or* 'process' focus as their project output (both and they end up w too much to manage, i.e. a project manager is usually either good at implementing 'technology change' or 'process change' NOT both at the same time <-- a subtle pattern that seems to be emerging from RI projects that require a short sustained output of either/or?
Though, the question then becomes what is a quadrant type "4 - Radical Innovation" project look like, e.g. realising a 'black swan' or 'man on the moon' innovation programme?
