Los Angeles County residents who signed up for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) were able to enter names into a raffle for a chance to win a laptop at the East Los Angeles Library on December 10, 2022. The ACP is a federally funded program offers up to $30 off monthly internet bill. There were seven sites at County libraries giving away 100 laptops each for ACP participants. Lecture Halls

 

There are two large lecture halls in the building—the Ronald J. Isaacs Lecture Hall in Room 125 and the Room 190 Lecture Hall—and both contain the following:

 

•A mix of continuous table top seating and tablet arm seating

•Multiple projection points, multiple large-scale screens, video monitor screens in back areas of rooms, and high-end teaching podium with all AV control residing in the podium

•Video capture of lectures for the web

•12 “push to talk” microphones are available when distance learning video is needed

•Soundproof fabrics and acoustic ceilings

This was the earliest published treatise to cover witchcraft. Espina was the personal confessor to King Juan II of Castile. His book describes various threats to the Catholic faith, and is open to the fifth part, “De Bello Demonum” (Concerning the war of demons), which includes witchcraft. This copy has its original binding of leather-covered wooden boards and metal corners.
