Mann, professor of military studies for Clemson University's Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Det. 770, retired after a stellar 26-year career in a ceremony held in Tillman Hall auditorium, April 28, 2017. Mann was a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in 1991 and went on to earn two masters degrees, a PhD, and logged 2,800 flight hours. He deployed and flew combat sorties in support of Operations
Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and held command positions in units across a full spectrum of U.S. Air Force operations before being assigned to Clemson. (Photo by Ken Scar)
