A Scottish Winter
Glen Coe last winter and an image from Beinn a'Chrulaiste looking down on a snow covered landscape just before sunrise.
For those that are interested this was made with the Sony RX10...also known as a highend bridge camera and it was done all handheld;)...purely cause the A7r was sitting next to me using the tripod;)
I processed a similar image last year, but this is a slightly earlier image with more clouds.

This sunday I visited Paleis Het Loo, former residence of the Royal family. The building itself is from the 17th century. Queen Wilhelmina lived here until 1962 and since 1975 it is owned and maintained by the Dutch state and it is a museum now. Since 2018 it was closed for a huge renovation and it partly reopened this April. There is still construction going on underground in front of the palace. Grant opening will be somewhere in 2023.
Former machine of Princess Wilhelmina. 1953 dark green Mercedes-Benz 300 Cabriolet Adenauer. Drei litros inline-6. It was the S-klasse of that time. The royals sure liked convertibles back in the day. In the back you can see a glimpse of a 1925 Minerva. Minerva was a Belgian super highend luxury car manufacturer. Lots of Minerva's can be seen in Autoworld Bruxelles.

Who also make a highend point and shoot. As I have mentioned none of the three can do what the high end cameras can do but they can come close. There is also some noise in this photo because I had to push the camera to about it's limit to get this photo. Notice the red, green and blue pixels You would have more latitude with the high end cameras.

….. The perfect car for the middle of London - Mmmm may be not! Deserves to be out on the open road, but if you’ve got it flaunt it as the saying goes. We know a few JJ’s but none claim it to be theirs - in fact our JJ said ’silly car’ - well he does play a double bass amongst other things!! One thing I must mention though is that this is a British car - we should be very proud of that. Alan:-)….

Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Dubai
At 829.8m (2,722 ft) the Burj Khalifa is pretty difficult to capture in a single frame when you’re stood in its shadow in Downtown Dubai. The Dubai Mall is equally impressive with its luxury high-end shops so I thought I’d combine the two.
No credit card was harmed during the making of this image.
