Memorial Ploughing Match at New Wolverton Farm, near Shorwell on the Isle of Wight, Heavy Horses, tons of tractors new, old and vintage. The annual event is run to support a number of charities on the Isle of Wight with the main beneficiary being the Earl Mountbatten hospice.
The event was originally organised to remember four ploughmen who died in 2008, each of the trophies represents a ploughman who has passed away that year and from then onwards. The ploughing match attracts more and more visitors each year, this year I estimated nearly 800 people in attendance.
