Highbury Fields is in the London Borough of Islington. Although not very big and bordered by houses it is our borough's largest green space, designated the 'lung of the parish'. Unfortunately it is overrun with smoke and fumes in the summer. We are all trying hard to encourage people to picnic rather than bbq - as clean air in London is hard to find! Please support our campaign to save our valuable green space at 38 degrees Save Highbury Fields. PICNICS are better. Thank you. xx
There will be a minute's silence at Highbury Corner at 12:46pm this Friday 27 June, 70 years after the devastating V1 blast. Meet outside Union Chapel at 12:30. Organised by Islington Council. Please pass on to others who may be interested.

Newly restored - a fine job on this previously neglected facade. Highbury Fields entrance was last used in the early 1960s when it was on the Northern City line, with lifts but no escalators. It closed when replaced by the current modern station across Holloway Road.
