The removal of the sealant coated electrical tape reveals a cracked coil cover insulator. This was a repair I made many years ago not wanting to wait for spare parts to arrive if I should order them.

The manufacturer's stampings are still mostly readable after all those years. They were manufactured in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
