By far the most memorable moment of our recent trip. As the young bull from my last post made his way down to the lake, the "teenaged" cow came up to greet him. They sniffed noses for a while and then both made their way down to the lake. Young love? The romantic in me likes to think so.

Es el ave montañera por excelencia. Acompañante habitual de todo aquel que se interna en las altas cumbres meditrerráneas.
El acentor alpino es el único representante de aves alpinas que habita en las cotas más altas de Sierra Espuña, ya que el resto de las aves representadas en las zonas mas altas son aves esteparias como la Collalba gris (Oenanthe oenanthe), la Alondra común (Alauda arvensis) y el Colirrojo tizón (Phoenicurus ochrurus).

It is the mountain bird by excellence. The usual companion of everyone which enters the high meditrerráneas summits.
This is the only representative of alpine birds that inhabit the higher reaches of the Sierra Espuña, since the rest of the birds represented in the highest areas are steppe birds such as the Northern Wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe), the Eurasian Skylark (Alauda arvensis) and the Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochrurus).

Thought I'd share a not so perfect window shot with you. My friend comes along every day with his friends and makes life a bit happier for winter.
The Hi-Sky is the worlds tallest transportable ferris wheel (78 metres). Currently located in the Werksviertel in Munich. A tour takes 30 minutes, so it moves rather slowly.
At some time after the photo was taken, this wheel was renamed to "Umadum"
The Werksviertel is the redeveloped area of the former Pfanni Kartoffelknödel (potato dumpling) factories in Munich - now home for creatives and startups.

He meowed, waking her up from the awkward and quite random position she was snoozing at. She did not make it to the bed and just slumped over the sides, using her arms as pillows. He meowed again, the persistent one. His rough tongue licking over her nose and brought her back to the land of the living.
"Hey..." she whispered, smiling towards him. Big yellow eyes looking up at her with his usual judgment. His eyes seemed to be questioning why she was wasting her day away in solitude when she could make use of her free time and make him a full course meal. Or perhaps she should groom him instead?
A butterfly that mirrored her soul suddenly shifted the eye contest as it landed on her nose. He seemed to frown (She could swear!) and raised his body up slowly, wanting to reach the butterfly. Meanwhile, she wanted to sneeze so badly but just decided to endure and torture herself in this position for both his and the butterfly's amusement.
What happened next is up to your imagination. ;)
