Very rare, actually first time, I use this lens stopped down. As you can see result is that bubbles become hexagons. From my trip to Italy last summer.

I had the bowl sitting on holographic paper with a black lens cap inside. I tried other colored items - purple ornament, tomato, peach, etc - but the black looked the best. Light from north window.

I arranged these magnetised hexagonal nuts ( 1cm in diameter ) on the magnet which is out of sight.

There is only natural light through the window. The yellow background is from a yellow plastic bag.
