I'm still trying to learn how to use my new phone's camera, so there will probably be a few over saturated and way too exposed photos until I get the hang of it. :P
Anyway, here are all the "heros" from this wave of designer dolls! This wave has most defiantly been my favorite designer colection released thus far, they're all so detailed! I'm really excited to see what they do next year! :D
Arliningon is the final resting place for so many of our heros. When I walk through there I can't help but think that when ever decisions are made about our National Security or anything that impacts our military... Those decesions should be made here.

The Heroes' Cross is a monument built between 1926 and 1928 on Caraiman Peak at an altitude of 2,291 m located in Romania, in the Bucegi Mountains of the Southern Carpathians. The name of the monument is "The Heroes' Cross", but it is popularly known as the "Cross on Caraiman".
The cross itself has a height of 28 metres (92 ft) and two arms of 7 metres (23 ft) each. The monument is the tallest summit cross in the world situated at such an altitude, as recognized in 2014 by Guinness World Records. The width of the vertical pole is 2 metres (7 ft), the horizontal arms have a length by spindle pole of 7 metres (23 ft), and a square cross section with sides of 2 metres (7 ft). The cross is made out of steel profiles and is mounted on a pedestal of concrete clad with stone 7.5 metres (25 ft) high. The Commando Memorial is situated about a mile from Spean Bridge village in Lochaber in the Scottish Highlands and is dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces during World War Two. It overlooks the training areas of the commando training depot at Achnacarry Castle.

In Ottawa there's a place dedicated to Canadian women who have contributed to our society. This woman is Viola Desmond who, in 1946 dared to sit in a whites only section of a theatre. She was arrested but at her trial she became a hero for standing up to discrimination. The laws were soon changed.
Just this year, in tribute to Viola, it was decided that her portrait would grace our $10 bill.

Laid out in 1896 to mark the thousandth anniversary of Hungary, Heroes' Square (Hősök tere) is the largest and most impressive square of Budapest.
The Millennium Monument in the middle of the square was erected to commemorate the 1000-year-old history of the Magyars. Archangel Gabriel stands on top of the center pillar, holding the holy crown and the double cross of Christianity. The seven chieftains who led the Magyar tribes to Hungary can be seen on the stand below. Statues of kings and other important historical figures stand on top of the colonnades on either side of the center pillar.
When the monument was originally constructed, Hungary was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and thus the last five spaces for statues on the left of the colonnade were reserved for members of the ruling Habsburg dynasty. The Habsburg emperors were replaced with Hungarian freedom fighters when the monument was rebuilt after World War II.
