He had followed me upstairs and was running around the bedroom like a maniac, on and off the bed, wanting to play whilst I was putting things away. Eventually he stopped to watch what I was doing.

The Herbert C Jackson spent some time in dry dock in Toledo mid-Summer for repairs. That allowed this "different" view of the classic Lake Boat with the Maumee River in the background rather than under her. Toledo, OH 7/7/2023

Vauxhall Combo life
During the pandemic we had two 4x4 cars sat on the drive doing nothing.
Tracey was working from home and I’d just taken early retirement.
We decided to go down to one car. It’s worked quite well for 18 months.
Steadily Tracey’s work (who’ve been absolutely brilliant) have started bringing the staff back into the office more and more. Tracey is now going to be back in the office for a minimum of 50% of the time (3 days one week, 2 days the next).
So it became a bit of a necessity for us to get a car for Herb to travel around in 😃. I also like to pop to B&Q, Screwfix, or the local builders’ merchants regularly too.
