The love bug at Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois. It's a '63 VW Beetle, one of more than 30 Herbies used during the shooting of the movies. Of the three original vehicles out there, two are in California and one is at Volo Auto Museum. (Wikipedia)

On the bed
He had followed me upstairs and was running around the bedroom like a maniac, on and off the bed, wanting to play whilst I was putting things away. Eventually he stopped to watch what I was doing.

We can't blame Elsie entirely for the scene portrayed in yesterday's mess photo...she had some help in tearing up that coyote tail. Here's Herbie doing his thing. We figured that, given the number of cats that have been killed by coyotes over the years, we should let them have their revenge.
