“A life without love is of no account. Don't ask yourself what kind of love you should seek, spiritual or material, divine or mundane, eastern or western…divisions only lead to more divisions. Love has no labels, no definitions. It is what it is, pure and simple. Love is the water of life. And a lover is a soul of fire! The universe turns differently when fire loves water.”

Shot this portrait of Julia a few months ago. The photo was really a bad photo and quite washed out and flat but I managed to process it in Lightroom. And here's the result. I hope you like it :)
Take care friends!

“Happiness is always there. You just have to choose to see it. There's no point dwelling in the dark and ignoring the light of the stars.”

It is never late to ask yourself “Am I ready to change my life, am I ready to change myself?”. However old we are, whatever we went through, it is always possible to reborn. If each day is a copy of the last one, what a pity! Every breath is a chance to reborn. But to reborn into a new life, you have to die before dying.

Do not worry about tricks and cheat. If someone people are tying to trap and hurt you. GOD is also trapping them. Hole diggers fell in their holes. No bad remains non punished, no good remains non awarded. Have faith in justice and let the rest be.

The institute was originally founded in 1875 as the Mayo School of Industrial Arts and was one of two art colleges created by the British crown in British India in reaction to the Arts & Crafts Movement. It was named in honor of the recently assassinated British Viceroy Lord Mayo in 1875. John Lockwood Kipling became the school's first principal who was also appointed as the first curator of the Lahore Museum which opened the same year in an adjacent building. In 1958, the school was renamed as the National College of Arts. Designated the premier art institution in the country, it was transferred to the Ministry of Education from the Ministry Industries in the 1960s. It received a degree-awarding status in 1985 and created its first graduate programs in 1999. In 2005, a second campus in Rawalpindi was opened. In 2011, the college received its own charter and became a degree awarding institute (DAI).

instead of looking at life as a series of goodbyes, i need to get back to that long-held belief of mine that it is a book with enough blank pages for me to write on about new beginnings. for a long while i seem to have lost that ability to see through and beyond the maze and the haze. i hope you won't fault me for that. i am stepping out once again, to say "hello, world!", to try seeing it as i used to see it - filled with beauty and endless possibilities. the just gone-by days will not be forgotten, no matter how tearful they might have been. they have now become a part of who i am. and who i am is someone who has been blessed with your friendships. it has been such an invigorating feeling to realize that you all understood and that even in my arrested moments, so many of you were always there, ready to reach out in case i needed a comforting hand. for that i shall remain your ever grateful friend. and i don't use the word "friend" lightly - never did, never will.
although i have it within me the capacity to look back on the past without regrets, i choose to stay in the moment and look forward instead. and so starting today, i am counting the days till my next trip back to the Philippines - 336 days left to another magical adventure with wonderful friends/photographers - some i've met, some i have yet to meet.
i have also decided to do 52 weeks of "self" expression, this being the first. i believe that a lot of creative distractions are just what the "doctor" has ordered :)
