Μοναχός εστιν ο πάντων χωρισθείς και πάσι συνηρμοσμένος.
A monk is separated from everyone and always interlocked with everyone.
Βιγλάτορας και ιερόν περιτείχισμα ορθοδοξίας,άλλο ένα μοναστήρι μας σε κάποιαν άκρη της Ελληνικής γής το οποίο η αφοσίωση,η πίστη των εκεί μοναζουσών εις “το αρχαίον κάλλος” ανεμόρφωσε πάντα με εμφανή την Θεία βοήθεια.
Μας ζητήθηκε και είναι απολύτως σεβαστό να μην δώσουμε παραπάνω λεπτομέρειες.
Όμως,νομίζω ότι μπορούμε να στείλουμε την αγάπη μας στην γλυκύτατη σκυλίτσα Νταίζη η οποία μας υποδέχθηκε και μας χάρισε αξέχαστες τρυφερές στιγμές εκεί!

Ιερά Καλύβη(κελλί) Αγίου Γεωργίου ή των Καρτσωναίων
Ο αριστερός βραχώδης βραχίονας στα βόρεια του οικισμού της ιεράς σκήτης Αγίας Άννης ,στο Άγιον όρος, καταλήγει στην θάλασσα, και ψηλά στην κορυφή του δεσπόζει ο πελώριος(για κελλί) ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου της Καλύβης των Καρτσωναίων. Χτίστηκε με σχέδια του αρχιτέκτονα Παύλου Μυλωνά, που έχει εκτελέσει στο Άγιο Όρος, μεγάλο μέρος της εργασίας του.
Η αδελφότητα των Καρτσωναίων ιδρύθηκε από τον ιερομόναχο Γαβριήλ Κάρτσωνα τον Πνευματικό (1876-1956), που καταγόταν από τα Αρφαρά της Μεσσηνίας. Εγκαταστάθηκαν εκεί μαζί με τον γέροντά του, Γεράσιμο τον Πνευματικό, που εκοιμήθη το 1914. Ο αγιογραφικός οίκος των Καρτσωναίων κατέστη ονομαστός.
Μεταξύ των νεότερων Καρτσωναίων περίφημοι είναι οι ιεροψάλτες Διονύσιος που εκοιμήθη το 1959 και Παντελεήμων που εκοιμήθη το 1992. Στη σκήτη παρασκευάζονται κεραλοιφές, οι οποίες φέρουν πιστοποίηση καλλυντικών προϊόντων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, αλλά και έγχρωμες λιθογραφίες με χειροποίητες λεπτομέρειες. The left rocky arm to the north of the settlement of the holy hermitage of Agia Anni, on Mount Athos, ends at the sea, and high at the top dominates the huge (for cell) church of Agios Georgios of Kalyvi of Kartsonai. It was built according to the plans of the architect Pavlos Mylonas, who has executed a large part of his work on Mount Athos.
The fraternity of the Kartsona was founded by the hieromonk Gabriel Kartsona the Spiritual (1876-1956), who came from Arfara in Messinia. They settled there together with his elder, Gerasimos the Spiritual, who died in 1914. The hagiographic house of the Kartsonians became famous.
Among the younger Kartsonians are the famous cantors Dionysios who died in 1959 and Panteleimon who died in 1992. The hermitage prepares ointments, which are certified by European Union cosmetics, but also colored lithographs with handmade details.

Το Γαναδιό διαθέτει πολλά ιστορικά κτήρια.
Το εικονιζόμενο αρχοντικό του Βαγγέλη Ξυνού είναι συνδεδεμένο με ένα ηρωικό περιστατικό.
Αντιγράφω από τον διαδικτυακό τόπο του Δήμου Κόνιτσας:
Το βράδυ της 28 προς 29 Ιουνίου του 1877 συμμορία ληστών με επικεφαλής τον Νετζήπ-αγά πραγματοποίησε επιδρομή στο Γαναδιό τρομοκρατώντας τους κατοίκους και στην συνέχεια πολιόρκησε την οχυρή κατοικία του Βαγγέλη Ξυνού η οποία βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του οικισμού. Αυτός αμύνθηκε γενναία μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα μέλη της οικογένειας του. Το μόνο που κατάφεραν οι ληστές ήταν να σπάσουν την εξώθυρα και να περάσουν μέσα στην αυλή. Έπειτα από τετράωρη μάχη αναγκάστηκαν να εγκαταλείψουν τις προσπάθειες τους και να υποχωρήσουν αφήνοντας πίσω τους 12 νεκρούς και 6 τραυματίες. Προτού αποχωρήσουν έριξαν μέσα στην φωτιά τα πτώματα των νεκρών συντρόφων τους.

The night of 28 to 29 June a gang of thieves led by Netzip-aga conducted raid on Gannadio terrorizing residents and then besieged the fortified residence of Vangelis Xynos located in the center of the village.He fought back bravely with the rest of the family. The only thing that the thieves managed was to break the portal and go into the yard. After a four-hour battle they were forced to abandon their efforts to retreat, leaving behind 12 dead and 6 wounded. Before leaving they threw into the fire the corpses of their dead comrades.
Όχι απλώς παραδοσιακός οικισμός αλλά ως μνημείο αρχιτεκτονικής αναφέρεται το εικονιζόμενο Γαναδιό,ένα από τα πέτρινα χωριά του Δήμου Κονίτσης στα 870 μέτρα υψόμετρο στις πλαγιές του Σμόλικα.
Not just a traditional settlement but as an architectural monument is mentioned the depicted Ganadio, one stone villages of Konitsa's Municipality at 870 meters altitude on the slopes of Smolikas.

Next to the Trikala-Larisa national road,traversing all the lenth Farkadona;s municipality the lowlands are cut offlow or higher hills making the geomorphology of the landscape interesting.
The interest rises sharply when the passer-by realizes that this is essentially an extensive pasture where livestock farming is done in the most traditional way.
Small or larger removable herds of sheep and goats or cows driven by massive and muscular shepherd's dogs, accompanied by pedestrians or equine shepherds cross the lowlands or climb the aforementioned hills, sometimes overgrown, sometimes parched and sometimes rugged because of their stony texture, giving the latter observer rare images of scenery, though they are all only a few yards off the highway.
Further approaching of an aspiring photographer-recorder of these very idyllic scenes may not be difficult in terms of accessibility but it requires special attention and good… public relations with the shepherds to… mediate for our good intentions to their herd keepers who each other than…. they are good-natured.

Στο Παράλιο Άστρος και στην νότια κορυφή του λόφου (νησί) που δεσπόζει του λιμανιού, υπάρχει κάστρο από τα χρόνια της φραγκοκρατίας. Συχνά αναφέρεται και σαν Κάστρο (ή Πύργος) των Ζαφειρόπουλων.
Το έχτισε το 1256 μ.Χ. ο πρίγκιπας Γουλιέλμος Βιλεαρδουινός (Castello della estella όπως το ονόμαζε) και διέμενε σ' αυτό ο Ενετός Διοικητής.
Στα μεταγενέστερα χρόνια της Τουρκοκρατίας το κάστρο διαμορφώθηκε σε ισχυρό αμυντικό συγκρότημα.
Τον 18ο αιώνα, τρεις αδελφοί, οι αδελφοί Ζαφειρόπουλοι, εύποροι έμποροι στο εξωτερικό, επέστρεψαν στην ιδιαίτερη πατρίδα τους για να αγωνιστούν κατά των Τούρκων και οικοδόμησαν στο χώρο του κάστρου τρεις κατοικίες, διαμορφώνοντας παράλληλα το εσωτερικό του. Οι κατοικίες αυτές είναι χαρακτηριστικά δείγματα της προεπαναστατικής αρχιτεκτονικής της περιοχής και σώζονται μέχρι σήμερα, οι δύο πρώτες σε ημιερειπωμένη και η Τρίτη σε ερειπωμένη κατάσταση.
Έχει τετράπλευρη κάτοψη και διατηρεί μεγάλο τμήμα του οχυρωματικού περιβόλου και έναν από τους οχυρούς του πύργους. Σώζονται επίσης δύο εξωτερικές πύλες του κάστρου.

Η ταπεινή Νομή,το χωριό μας είχε την ιδιαίτερη τιμή τις τελευταίες ημέρες να δεχθεί την επίσκεψη μίας ομάδος 30 αποδημούντων προς την Αφρική μαυροπελαργών (η επιστημονική του ονομασία είναι Ciconia nigra) ενός σπάνιου είδους εφόσον στην χώρα μας έχουν καταγραφεί το μέγιστο 70 ζευγάρια.
Η συνύπαρξή τους με το πλήθος των λευκοτσικνιάδων των σταχτοτσικνιάδων και την υπόλοιπης ορνιθοπανίδος της περιοχής χάρισε εικόνες μοναδικής στην πολύ φορτωμένη από κάθε άποψη καθημερινότητά μας.
The humble Nomi, our village had the special honor in recent days to receive the visit of a group of 30 black storks migrating to Africa (its scientific name is Ciconia nigra) of a rare species since in our country a maximum of 70 pairs have been recorded.
Their coexistence with the multitude of white egrets of the gray egrets and the rest of the bird fauna of the area gave images unique to our very busy daily life.

Τον Οκτώβριο του 336 π.Χ. δολοφονήθηκε,όμως και ο γιός του.ο Μέγας Αλέξανδρος συνεκάλεσε εν νέου το συνέδριο στην Κόρινθο για να ανανεώσει τους όρκους όλων των Ελλήνων τους οποίους είχαν δώσει στον πατέρα του.
Ο ίδιος ανακηρύχθηκε στρατηγός αυτοκράτωρ και στην προσφώνηση του Κορίνθιου Δημάρατου «χαίρει ούν η τε Ελλάς άπασα καί η Μακεδονία…»,ο Αλέξανδρος οργίσθηκε και φώναξε: «Άλλ’ ώ μακάριε, έστιν ούν Ελλάς και η Μακεδονία!»

Because the first synod was convened in Corinth, it is referred to by later historians as the "Corinth Conference" or occasionally as the "Panhellenic Congress"In October of 336 BC.
He was also assassinated and his son,Alexander the Great reconvened a conference in Corinth to renew the oaths of all the Greeks he had given to his father.
He was proclaimed emperor general and in the address of the Corinthian Dimaratos "rejoice that all Greece is here and Macedonia…", Alexander became angry and shouted: "Oh, blessed,Macedonia is Greece too !"

Η Ιερά Πατριαρχική και Σταυροπηγιακή Μονή των Βλατάδων, αποτελεί το μοναδικό σε λειτουργία βυζαντινό μοναστήρι εντός της Θεσσαλονίκης, και ένα από τα σημαντικότερα βυζαντινά μνημεία της πόλης.
Κτίστηκε από τους αδελφούς Δωρόθεο και Μάρκο Βλαττή, μαθητές του Αρχιεπισκόπου Θεσσαλονίκης Αγίου Γρηγορίου Παλαμά, στη θέση όπου σύμφωνα με την παράδοση κήρυξε στους Θεσσαλονικείς τον θείο λόγο ο Απόστολος Παύλος και το καθολικό της είναι αφιερωμένο στη Μεταμόρφωση του Σωτήρος.
The Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegian Monastery of Vlatada is the only Byzantine monastery in operation in Thessaloniki, and one of the most important Byzantine monuments in the city.
It was built by the brothers Dorotheos and Marcos Vla (t) tis, students of the Archbishop of Thessaloniki Saint Grigorios Palamas, in the place where according to tradition the Apostle Paul preached the divine word to the Thessalonians and its katholikon is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Savior.

Αρχιτεκτονικά, το καθολικό της μονής ανήκει σε σπάνια παραλλαγή του σταυροειδούς εγγεγραμμένου ναού, στην οποία ο τρούλος δε στηρίζεται σε κίονες, αλλά σε δύο πεσσούς δυτικά και στους τοίχους του Ιερού ανατολικά. Στις τρεις πλευρές περιβάλλεται με στοά (περίστωο), η οποία απολήγει ανατολικά σε δύο παρεκκλήσια. Κατά τον 19ο και 20ο αιώνα έγιναν επισκευές και προσθήκες.
Architecturally, the katholikon of the monastery belongs to a rare variant of the cruciform inscribed church, in which the dome does not rest on columns, but on two pillars on the west and on the walls of the sanctuary on the east. It is surrounded on three sides by a portico (peristo), which ends east in two chapels. During the 19th and 20th centuries repairs and additions were made.
One of the many good stay in a village is that you can find such images in a simple walk a few meters from your home.

Fanari is a village in Karditsa, Greece,located on the end of a series of hills extending into the Thessalian plain northwest of Karditsa, and commands a broad view of the surrounding area.[3] The current settlement dates to the later Middle Ages, but is located on the ruins of the ancient city of Ithome, which survived until early Byzantine times.His castle, a plain structure on a circular plateau some 100 m across, is well preserved to this day. Η ευσεβής Άννα σύζυγος του Ιωακείμ, πέρασε τη ζωή της χωρίς να μπορέσει να τεκνοποιήσει, καθώς ήταν στείρα. Μαζί με τον Ιωακείμ προσευχόταν θερμά στον Θεό να την αξιώσει να φέρει στον κόσμο ένα παιδί, με την υπόσχεση ότι θα αφιέρωνε το τέκνο της σε Αυτόν. Πράγματι, ο Πανάγαθος Θεός όχι μόνο της χάρισε ένα παιδί, αλλά την αξίωσε να φέρει στον κόσμο τη γυναίκα που θα γεννούσε το Μεσσία, το Σωτήρα μας Ιησού Χριστό. Όταν η Παναγία έγινε τριών χρόνων, σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, η Άννα και ο Ιωακείμ, κρατώντας την υπόσχεσή τους, την οδήγησαν στο Ναό και την παρέδωσαν στον αρχιερέα Ζαχαρία. Ο αρχιερέας παρέλαβε την Παρθένο Μαρία και την οδήγησε στα Άγια των Αγίων, όπου δεν έμπαινε κανείς εκτός από τον ίδιο, επειδή γνώριζε έπειτα από αποκάλυψη του Θεού το μελλοντικό ρόλο της Αγίας κόρης στην ενανθρώπιση του Κυρίου. Στα ενδότερα του Ναού η Παρθένος Μαρία έμεινε δώδεκα χρόνια. Όλο αυτό το διάστημα ο αρχάγγελος Γαβριήλ προμήθευε την Παναγία με τροφή ουράνια. Εξήλθε από τα Άγια των Αγίων, όταν έφθασε η ώρα του Θείου Ευαγγελισμού.

Indeed, God Almighty not only gave her a child, but required her to bring into the world the woman who would give birth to the Messiah, our Savior Jesus Christ. When the Virgin Mary was three years old, according to tradition, Anna and Joachim, keeping their promise, led her to the Temple and handed her over to High Priest Zacharias. The high priest received the Virgin Mary and led her to the Holy of Holies, where no one entered except himself, because he knew after the revelation of God the future role of the Holy Daughter in the incarnation of the Lord. Inside the Temple, the Virgin Mary remained for twelve years. All this time the archangel Gabriel was supplying the Virgin with heavenly food. He came out of the Holy of Holies, when the time of the Divine Evangelism arrived.

Βιγλάτορας και ιερόν περιτείχισμα ορθοδοξίας,άλλο ένα μοναστήρι μας σε κάποιαν άκρη της Ελληνικής γής το οποίο η αφοσίωση,η πίστη των εκεί μοναζουσών εις “το αρχαίον κάλλος” ανεμόρφωσε πάντα με εμφανή την Θεία βοήθεια.
Μας ζητήθηκε και είναι απολύτως σεβαστό να μην δώσουμε παραπάνω λεπτομέρειες.
Όμως,νομίζω ότι μπορούμε να στείλουμε την αγάπη μας στην γλυκύτατη σκυλίτσα Νταίζη η οποία μας υποδέχθηκε και μας χάρισε αξέχαστες τρυφερές στιγμές εκεί!

Η Ιερά Πατριαρχική και Σταυροπηγιακή Μονή των Βλατάδων, αποτελεί το μοναδικό σε λειτουργία βυζαντινό μοναστήρι εντός της Θεσσαλονίκης, και ένα από τα σημαντικότερα βυζαντινά μνημεία της πόλης.
Κτίστηκε από τους αδελφούς Δωρόθεο και Μάρκο Βλαττή, μαθητές του Αρχιεπισκόπου Θεσσαλονίκης Αγίου Γρηγορίου Παλαμά, στη θέση όπου σύμφωνα με την παράδοση κήρυξε στους Θεσσαλονικείς τον θείο λόγο ο Απόστολος Παύλος και το καθολικό της είναι αφιερωμένο στη Μεταμόρφωση του Σωτήρος.
The Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegian Monastery of Vlatada is the only Byzantine monastery in operation in Thessaloniki, and one of the most important Byzantine monuments in the city.
It was built by the brothers Dorotheos and Marcos Vla (t) tis, students of the Archbishop of Thessaloniki Saint Grigorios Palamas, in the place where according to tradition the Apostle Paul preached the divine word to the Thessalonians and its katholikon is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Savior.
Το υφιστάμενο κτίσμα του καθολικού ανάγεται στον 14ο αιώνα(1351-1371), ενώ είναι βέβαιη η ύπαρξη και παλαιότερης φάσης, η οποία αποτέλεσε τη βάση πάνω στην οποία κτίστηκε ο παλαιολόγειος ναός.
The existing building of the katholikon dates back to the 14th century (1351-1371), while the existence of an older phase is certain, which was the basis on which the palaeologian church was built.

Αρχιτεκτονικά, το καθολικό της μονής ανήκει σε σπάνια παραλλαγή του σταυροειδούς εγγεγραμμένου ναού, στην οποία ο τρούλος δε στηρίζεται σε κίονες, αλλά σε δύο πεσσούς δυτικά και στους τοίχους του Ιερού ανατολικά. Στις τρεις πλευρές περιβάλλεται με στοά (περίστωο), η οποία απολήγει ανατολικά σε δύο παρεκκλήσια. Κατά τον 19ο και 20ο αιώνα έγιναν επισκευές και προσθήκες.
Architecturally, the katholikon of the monastery belongs to a rare variant of the cruciform inscribed church, in which the dome does not rest on columns, but on two pillars on the west and on the walls of the sanctuary on the east. It is surrounded on three sides by a portico (peristo), which ends east in two chapels. During the 19th and 20th centuries repairs and additions were made.

It belongs to the group of churches-catholic monasteries that have common characteristics in their typology, morphology and formed the so-called: "School of Thessaloniki". Inside it preserves exceptional samples of palaeological paintings, among which stands out the inclusion of St. Gregory of Palamas in the iconographic program of the church, which seems to have taken place very soon after his death on the initiative of his student and later Archbishop of Thessaloniki, Dorotheos Vlattis (1371-1379).
Σήμερα, η Μονή διαθέτει Σκευοφυλάκιο όπου παρουσιάζονται φορητές εικόνες, γλυπτά, χειρόγραφα και άλλα κειμήλια της Μονής από τον 12ο αιώνα ως σήμερα και έχει μια ακμάζουσα μοναστική κοινότητα υπό την ηγουμενεία του Θεοφιλεστάτου Επισκόπου Αμορίου κ. Νικηφόρου Ψυχλούδη. Παράλληλα, η Μονή φιλοξενεί από το 1968, το Πατριαρχικό Ίδρυμα Πατερικών Μελετών, το οποίο αποτελεί Θεολογικό επιστημονικό Ίδρυμα του Οικουμενικού Πατριαρχείου.
Today, the Monastery has a Sacristy where portable icons, sculptures, manuscripts and other relics of the Monastery from the 12th century until today are presented and has a thriving monastic community under the abbotship of the Most Reverend Bishop of Amori Mr. Nikiforos Psychloudis. At the same time, the Monastery has hosted since 1968, the Patriarchal Foundation for Patriarchal Studies, which is a Theological Scientific Foundation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Στην κύρια συλλογή της βιβλιοθήκης ανήκουν και τα παλαίτυπα(βιβλία τα οποία έχουν τυπωθεί μεταξύ 1500-1600μ.Χ.), που υπερβαίνουν τους 1.500 τίτλους. Παρουσιάζουν σπουδαία ιστορική αξία εξαιτίας της παλαιότητάς τους. Πολλά από αυτά είναι αρχέτυπα(βιβλία τα οποία έχουν τυπωθεί από την εφεύρεση της τυπογραφίας έως το 1500 μ.Χ.) και δε συναντώνται σε άλλες βιβλιοθήκες. Λόγω της ευαισθησίας τους φυλάσσονται σε ξεχω-ριστό δωμάτιο και η πρόσβαση στο κοινό επιτρέπεται κατόπιν συνεννόησης με το προσωπικό του Ιδρύματος.
The main collection of the library also includes the old scripts(books that have been printed between 1500-1600 AD), which exceed 1,500 titles. They have great historical value because of their antiquity. Many of them are archetypes and are not found in other libraries. Due to their sensitivity they are kept in a separate room and access to the public is allowed after consultation with the staff of the Foundation.

Όχι απλώς παραδοσιακός οικισμός αλλά ως μνημείο αρχιτεκτονικής αναφέρεται το εικονιζόμενο Γαναδιό,ένα από τα πέτρινα χωριά του Δήμου Κονίτσης στα 870 μέτρα υψόμετρο στις πλαγιές του Σμόλικα.
Not just a traditional settlement but as an architectural monument is mentioned the depicted Ganadio, one stone villages of Konitsa's Municipality at 870 meters altitude on the slopes of Smolikas.

Στο λάβαρο εικονίζεται ο Άγιος Νεκτάριος τον οποίο τιμά με ιδιαίτερη λαμπρότητα σήμερα η Ορθόδοξος Εκκλησία μας καθώς συμπληρώνονται 100 χρόνια από την οσιακή κοίμησή του.
Θέλω να καταθέσω και την δική μου ομολογία από κοινού με την σύζυγό μου Πατρούλα ότι σε δικά του θαύματα οφείλουμε την ύπαρξη των τριών τέκνων μας αλλά και ιδιαιτέρως την σωτηρία της μόλις 20 ημερών τότε θυγατέρας μας Κωνσταντίνας.

Τελειώνοντας το ανηφορικό καλντερίμι,παράλληλα με το ρέμα το οποίο στεφανώνεται με τα τέσσερα μικρά,πέτρινα,τοξωτά γεφυράκια,στην σκιά ενός πολυαιωνόβιου και πολυκλαδισμένου πλατάνου συναντάμε ένα ακόμη προσφάτως αναπαλαιωθέν ιστορικό κτήριο,το Παρθεναγωγείο του Γαναδιού.
Αντιγραφή από τον πολυμεσικό ηλεκτρονικό ξεναγό του Δήμου Κόνιτσας :
Στο Γαναδιό εκτός από το Σχολαρχείο λειτουργούσε και Παρθεναγωγείο με τέσσερις τάξεις στο οποίο οι μαθήτριες διδάσκονταν κυρίως μαθήματα οικοκυρικής . Κατασκευάστηκε και συντηρούταν και αυτό με δαπάνες του κληροδοτήματος Ξεινού. Ως προς την αρχιτεκτονική του ήταν ένα απλό κτίριο με δυο μεγάλες αίθουσες που διέθεταν τζάκι για θέρμανση καθώς επίσης ραπτομηχανές και αργαλειούς για τις ανάγκες της διδασκαλίας Στην αυλή βρισκόταν το μαγειρείο όπου ετοιμαζόταν και διανεμόταν το καθημερινό συσσίτιο.

In Gannadio except Scolarcheio functioned Girls School with four classes in which students were taught mainly housekeeping classes[1].It was built and maintained with expenses of Xynos legacy. As for the architecture was a simple building with two large rooms that had a fireplace for heating as well as sewing machines and looms for the needs of teaching. In the courtyard there was the kitchen where they prepared and distributed daily meals.

A detail of the wonderful nature that is formed around the 75 km long river Louros, is my HDR photo for today. A rather smal river that flows at Ipiros Greece and empties into the Ionian Sea (Amvrakikos gulf). The processing of the shot places particular emphasis on the high contrast between the light green - coloured leafy environment and the dark - coloured, odd - shaped trunks of the trees.
EXIF: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX1, ISO 100, f 3,3, focal length 4,5 mm, HDR procesing made out of three original shots with EV -0.33, - 1,33, + 0,66 and shutter speeds 1/100s, 1/200s and 1/50s respectively...
