Denna veckans uppdrag var 'Helg'. Denna helg var det Alla helgonahelgen. Fullt med liv på kyrkogården...men vem är verkligen där och vem hälsar på denna magiska natt?

De senaste helgerna så har jag jobbat så det var skönt att få ledigt för en gångs skull. Jag tycker om köra att runt här i Sverige och hitta nya ställen att fotografera tillsammans med min fru. Som den här serpentine vägen (tack till min vän Jens som berättade vart den fanns!). Jag fick min fru att köra fram och tillbaka ett antal gånger så att jag kunde få ljuset från bilen helt rätt. Det var bakljusen som ställde till problemet då det var ljust ute. Jag gissar att folk som bodde i området undrade var det var vi höll på med. Så denna helgen gick åt att ta denna bild.
Here comes my contribution to fotosöndag's weekly challenge - weekend.
It seems for the past few weekends I've been working so was glad to get this weekend off. Do enjoy a drive in the Swedish country side with my wife and discovering new places. Like this curve in a windy road (thanks to my friend Jens for telling us where it was!). Got my wife to drive backwards and forwards a number of times until I could get the light streaks just right from the car. It was the back lights that caused the problems as it was hard capturing them in day light. I'm sure the people living in the area started to wonder why the same car was driving passed their house again and again. So yeah my weekend was taken up just trying to get one photo!
Means Good Holiday - a wish to all of you whatever you celebrate at this time of year.

San Giorgio Maggiore est une basilique abbatiale vénitienne située sur la petite île du même nom dans le bassin de Saint-Marc, face à la Piazetta. Elle est desservie par les Bénédictins de la congrégation de Subiaco Mont-Cassin. Face à la Dogana da Mar, elle fut commencée en 1566 par Palladio et terminée en 1610 par Scamozzi, auteur de la noble façade.
A l'intérieur de la Basilique se trouve actuellement exposée une couronne d’épines, dans sa fragmentation en sept morceaux.- Cette sculpture éclatée d’Helga Vockenhuber (1963) est installée sous la coupole de Palladio, 447 années séparant ces deux œuvres.

Der Künstler Helge Hommes realisiert zum Lichtfest 2014 in Leipzig die Installation DAS Ur-Licht in der alten Hauptpost am Augustusplatz.
