One of my daily smoothies, good even for a cold and rainy day.
Recipe: almond milk, berries, avocado, spinach, chia seeds, vanilla zero carb protein, greek yogurt, cinnamon and Stevia. The perfect lunch.
For those asking, I'm fine. I've just been busy between annual health check ups, house chores, gym, crafts, vacation planning, and TV series. Thanks for your comments, really appreciated! 💕

You're sexual. You're soulful. You're emotional. You're spiritual. You're magic. You're both of the light and the dark. You're human. Don't deny any aspects of who you are. A healthy soul is a whole soul.
Fish and salad on the menu of this White-faced Heron. It was catching beach worms for starters until there was time for mains.

Keep looking up! I learn from the past, dream about the future and look up. There's nothing like a beautiful sunset to end a healthy day. - Rachel Boston
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo❤️
Today was the last day of the hibiscus bush in front of my house. I'm re-landscaping around my house (that I bought last year), and the hibiscus was intergrown with another bush that I really didn't like. And the fact that I didn't really like the color (hence all the false color shots of hibiscus flowers) meant that it had to go. I had a moment of silence for it today, as I don't like to kill anything (and it seemed a really healthy bush). It will live on, though, as I took some cuttings last fall and at least one seems to be doing quite well. (For those curious about whether this shot looks familiar - yes, it's the same shot as Always Remember That Which Brought You Joy, but with different colors.)
I plan to get a new hibiscus. But this time I think I'll go with red.
Well, thanks for looking. And, as always, comments are always appreciated.
Staying Healthy by knowing what and what not to eat
There was a warning last week for foragers not to misidentify mushrooms and toadstools.
I'd never be brave enough to forage!

From Pipsqueak to a teenager in no time. The parents did a great job of raising them. This is the last image I took before my favourite lens crapped out on me. It wasn't doing good at the last rodeo so I kind of knew it was coming. Had to buy a new printer recently and now I have to decide on a new lens, when it rains, it pours, but nothing lasts forever. Tomorrow I'm going to look at Sigma lenses which are more affordable than the Canon ones. Anybody who has any useful info, reviews or tips about Sigma lenses would be much appreciated.
"A 'treat' is different from a 'reward', which must be justified or earned. A treat is a small pleasure or indulgence that we give to ourselves just because we want it. Treats give us greater vitality, which boosts self-control, which helps us maintain our healthy habits."

Happy Macro Mondays !
Diet experts keep saying that you should eat 5 fruit and vegetables a day to keep healthy, that's why I chose these delicious strawberries bought at a nearby farm as my contribution to this week's photo for Macro Mondays.
The past few years our state of California has suffered massive fire tragedies caused by utility power lines.
I am hearing that preparations to prevent fires this coming fire season are being impacted by the pandemic, and the usual procedures to defend ourselves during wildfires (receiving reinforcements from outside the state, healthy firefighters living together in close quarters in stations and firecamps, etc., etc.) are in doubt.
