METX F40PHs #106 and #124 bring up one of the Milwaukee District double-headers towards Union Station. In the distance, the ADM local couples back onto it's train, a UP set deadheads to Ogilvie, and the westbound Hiawatha approaches.
This set is devoted to the "big freeze" in Oxford (2010).

The header’s got the steer roped and the heeler moves in at the Georgia High School Rodeo Association Finals in Perry, Georgia.
This picture pretty much sums up photographing indoor rodeo. Something in there is sharp and in focus but you’re never quite certain what that will be or if it will work for the picture. The flip side is that something will always be out of focus and/or blurry from motion. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. But if we could always shoot at F22@1/4,000th of a second it would take the challenge out of it.
