Took this one during december too. In France the weather was particularly soft, even if it was a bit cloudy out there. This picture corresponds to a very typical view of the castle as you may notice but I like this one in particular because the sun give me a light you can't catch twice in a day with these clouds.

When I first came to Alberta wheat was king. Only a fool would suggest that any crop would ever rival wheat. Within 20 or 30 years Canola (pictured) had about the same value as any cereal crop. About 90+% of canola is GM modified. No weeds. Every couple of years or so, depending on market conditions, canola is rotated for a couple of years with a cereal crop.

In any event, the yellow flower of canola makes for attractive photos - if you like yellow.

A view of the remains of Guisborough Priory Arch, or its proper title the Norman Gatehouse. The ruin is set in lovely grounds, in what was once the Ancient Capital of Cleveland. This is all that remains of the Monastary that was founded by Robert the Bruce in the year 1119.

I have this photo in full colour, but i wanted to see what it would look like with the Daffodils standing out. It took a bit of time and my eyes are sore - lol - But i quite like it. What do you think?

A very picturesque church in a very picturesque location on the North tip of Maui. A great but narrow road to drive!

Taken in Spaarnwoude ( the Netherlands ).
