Masih kurasa segarnya udara pagi itu, semerbak wewangian khas lokal pun masih nancep di memory. Masih kulihat bebangau (para bangau) sibuk mencari kudapan di danau pagi itu (gak keliatan ya?, pas tgl. 15/04 sih keliatan). Angin menerpa wajahku lembut (maksudnya anginnya yang lembut bin sepoi-sepoi) sambil berbisik "udah pulangnya nanti aje ....". Melihat aku terlena, Erick, sohibku pun menghampiriku sambil berkata "Shall we go now..?", Ups... aku harus pulang sekarang, kembali ke alam keseharianku... di jakarta... hiks... Dan kami pun melaju ke Bandara... diiringi lagu-lagu lama Eagles... sambil membuka kaca (bukan dongkel ya..!) mobil karena udaranya masih sueger... brrr...

The Daruma doll is a hollow, round, Japanese traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen sect of Buddhism. These dolls, though typically red and depicting a bearded man (Dharma), vary greatly in color and design depending on region and artist. Though considered an omocha, meaning toy, by some, Daruma has a design that is rich in symbolism and is regarded more as a talisman of good luck to the Japanese. Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck, making them a popular gift of encouragement. The doll has also been commercialized by many Buddhist temples to use alongside goal setting.
When purchased, the eyes are white so a person can decide on a goal or wish and paint one eye in. Once the goal is achieved, the second eye is filled in.
I can't believe he's here! He's soooo adorable and I love him! I'm still not certain if the face-up he has will stay, but maybe for a while. I like some things about it, but other things aren't quite how I would want him to be ultimately.
