Andy Glass bought the latest incarnation of his 40+-year old Prog/Folk/Psych outfit to Chepstow where they were second on the bill below Karnataka. With much material drawn from their excellent 2021 album Sia plus Guardian of My Soul and a new "try-out" track from the next album, they clearly blew Karnataka off the stage! This line up really suits Andy and they all seem to be having a lot of fun! Jess has a sublime and subtle voice that harmonizes well with Jenny on fiddle. The keyboards add texture and allow Andy's guitar solos space to develop and a tight rhythm section keeps it all together. I can't wait to see the again and her the new album!

My friend, April (guitar), and her banjo-playing harmonizing pal, Karen, played several numbers tonight (and most Mon. nights) at the Ace In The Hole pub in Sebastopol. The crowd loved them and tapped and clapped along with their mix of folk, gospel, and more folk. A fun time!

Grouped around a communal courtyard are three schools, the so-called Apollo schools, which harmonize with their surroundings because of their villa-like appearance. The Montessori School and Willemspark School were designed by Herman Hertzberger, the third school was designed by Liesbeth van der Pol. The two schools by Hertzberger are based on an identical basic scheme: a square, in the four corners of which are classrooms grouped around a central hall. By introducing variation in the detailing and through the positioning of the windows, the architect has given each school its own identity. The schools have been positioned so that the schoolyard is divided into a semi-public section and a more sheltered section; this latter area has been specially designed for small children. The infants have an entrance on the ground floor, beneath the exterior stairway. The entrances for the older children are situated above, on either side of a spacious hall which also functions as an auditorium. This space is used not only for performances, but also as a place where children can work individually or in groups. The plan functions in such a way that users and visitors are led via subtle transitions from the public street to the compact enclosed space in the school.

On December 11th, 2016, a particular importance ceremony took place in the main entrance of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps - Greece (NRDC-GR), where historical exhibits of the three Branches of the Hellenic Armed Forces created a highly aesthetic composition that symbolizes the new solid foundation of NRDC-GR as Joint Headquarters (JHQ).
In the speech of the day, it was mentioned that: “The new joint task of our Headquarters inaugurates the combined operational action of all armed forces branches under unique command. Within the frame of this institutional evolution, a representative monument was erected at the entrance of our HQ. Land, Sea and Air exhibits are harmonized in order to highlight the innovating joint function.”
The combination of the exhibits include a British manufactured 6 inch towed howitzer, a 1000 kgr anchor and an American built light fighter F-5A, bears a strong symbolization, this of the close and restless cooperation of the land, sea and airborne forces attached to the HQ, under its new joint identity, resulting to our feeling of high pride, for being members of NRDC-GR.
The inauguration of the monument honored with their presence the Chief of 1st Army Lieutenant General Ilias LEONTARIS, COM NRDC-GR Lt GEN, Alkiviadis STEFANIS, COM NCNG OF-5, Christos PAVLOUDIS, COM 113 CM, OF-5 Gregorios THEOCHARIDIS, President of Historical Army Vehicle Club, Mr Georgios ILIADIS) and all HQ personnel.
We thanked all, civilian and military personnel, who contributed in the carriage and restoration of all monumental pieces, highlighted that this initiative has its roots long time ago finalizing continues efforts of the past years NRDC-GR Commanders.
The restoration would not have been easy to complete, without the valuable, voluntarily assistance of Historical Military Vehicles Club members, to whom much gratitude is owned.

On Saturday of October 04th of 2008 at 10:00 am in the morning. Yvonne and myself and the Fuzz arrived at Saint Christine’s church on East 222nd street in the city of Euclid. This was for the service and the blessing of all of the pets for feast of Saint Francis Asisisi. Once that was completed and was done with. Yvonne and myself took the Fuzz over to 21081 Westwood Drive in the city of Strongsville about maybe a mile or two from the Westfield South Park Mall. This is the location of Pet Paws for where the Fuzz gets his bath and shampoo and his grooming all done. So around 3:30 Pm that after noon. We decided to bring the Fuzz and his wagon inside of the mall along Royalton Road and Route # 82. He was remarkably well behaved given for what is the awesomly huge and the spacious nature of the mall inside. We pulled him in his wagon on the first ground floor and also on the second floor above us. He never once jumped out. In due and just reward for his behavior. We stopped at a outlet for which is called Moochies there. The girls who work at that store usually see only dog’s most of the time. So it was a pleasant for once in which to be able to see a cat. And also Yvonne managed to convince me for that we get our photo taken inside one of those photo booths that you find in the malls. Since we had forgotten and neglected to bring in our own camera’s. No where on our path along the mall with a cat inside of a wagon. Did we ever draw any negative attention onto ourselves. Infact the mall security guy was pretty cool with us for when he saw our set up operation with the Fuzz. We were pretty surprised for when no one have us any stress or hassle or shit to deal with.
