Esta povoação, em Entre os Rios,encontra-se, passando a ponte Duarte Pacheco que transpõe o rio Tâmega dando continuidade à estrada nacional Porto-Amarante.
Ao entardecer, este espelho de água é muito harmonioso.

Tithorea harmonia est un insecte lépidoptère de la famille des Nymphalidae, de la sous-famille des Danainae et du genre Tithorea.
Tithorea harmonia est un papillon aux ailes antérieures bien plus longues que les ailes postérieures, d'une envergure d'environ 76 mm. Sur le dessus les ailes antérieures sont de couleur marron très largement tachées de jaune et les ailes postérieures sont jaune orangé bordées de marron avec une bande dentelée marron.
Le revers est assez semblable.
Tithorea harmonia se nomme Harmonia Tiger en anglais.

The not so local ladybugs ( they were imported from Asia) are moving into our house every year around late October early November. I love insects but not a big fan of having them all over the house ;-(

Happy Bank Holiday! Sort of...working an 11 hour day today but is not a bad thing as work has increased to normal levels since March's lockdown. Not much time or enthusiasm for posting at the moment though!!!

Taken at Edinburgh Butterfly & Insect World. We had a really rainy day while on holiday in Northumberland, so we decided to to visit the Butterfly and Insect World to get out the rain.
