Bear Creek Trail follows Bear Creek up into the San Juan mountains of Colorado. It is part of the Hardrock 100 race, which starts this year on July 14. The drop-off is steep and some runners will be traversing it at night.

NAZARETH, groupe écossais de hard-rock qui célèbre ses 50 ans d'activité.
Actif depuis 1968, Nazareth a longtemps bataillé dans l'ombre de Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath et Deep Purple. Mais le groupe a vraiment connu ses heures de gloire dans les années 70. Dinosaure du hard-rock, Nazareth doit être considéré parmi les pionniers de ce qui deviendrait le heavy-metal : grosses guitares, rythmes lourds, vocaux puissants.
NAZARETH, Scottish group of hard rock which celebrates its 50 years of activity.
Asset since 1968, Nazareth fought for a long time in the shade of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. But the group has really known its hours of glory in the 70s. Dinosaur of the hard rock, Nazareth must be considered among the pioneers of what would become the heavy-metal: big guitars, powerful heavy, vocal rhythms.

The greatest rock'n'roll guitar player in the world is gone. Eddie R.I.P.
Years ago I modeled the case of my vintage Sansui 890 receiver based on the pattern of Eddie's unique guitar painting. It's called "Frankenstrat or Frankenstein" design. It was painted with a black and white striped design until arriving at its final combination of red background with black and white stripes.
You will get more photos of my EVH Sansuis on my flickr stream here. Also the Sansui artist model 5150. The EVH album "5150" was released in 1986 and was the first work with Sammy Hagar as the singer after David Lee Roth.

En quelques riffs de guitare bien tranchants, on comprend tout de suite ce qu’il se passe. Un truc à la AC/DC ou façon Airbourne et tous ces gangs qui ont le don d’accélérer le blues et de pousser leurs amplis au-delà des limites sonores raisonnables.
Soyons clair : si Rhino Bucket n’a pas inventé l’eau chaude, le groupe américain sait comment la porter à ébullition. Certes, Georg Dolivo a le même timbre vocal que feu Bon Scott et tout le répertoire de ces Californiens sonne tellement AC/DC que c’est à s’y méprendre. Sauf qu’il s’agit juste de rock’n’roll joué à l’ancienne, avec vigueur et rugosité, dans l’esprit du haut voltage pur et simple. Avec Rhino Bucket, on en oublie tous ses soucis et les incitations à consommer moins d’électricité. Le son du monde d’avant, quoi.
In a few sharp guitar riffs, we immediately understand what is happening. Something like AC/DC or Airbourne style and all those gangs that have the ability to accelerate the blues and push their amps beyond reasonable sound limits.
Let’s be clear: if Rhino Bucket didn’t invent hot water, the American group knows how to bring it to a boil. Of course, Georg Dolivo has the same vocal tone as the late Bon Scott and the entire repertoire of these Californians sounds so AC/DC that it’s hard to believe. Except that it’s just rock'n'roll played the old way, with vigor and roughness, in the spirit of pure and simple high voltage. With Rhino Bucket, you forget all your worries and the incentives to consume less electricity. The sound of the world before that.
