There is a stairway right outside of Milsons Point train station which is the first stop after crossing Harbour Bridge (from the city side).
Not a stairway to heaven but a stairway onto Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Not heavenly but there is a very nice view. Probably one of the easiest accesses to the great view spot.
I'll show you the way 😊

very end of winter
A very calm but cold evening on the harbour. I spent a few hours here, getting pics as the tide was rising and going dark. Difficult for long exposure as the boats were moving, perseverance paid off in the end.

I am just sorting out my photos from our September trip to Devon and the South Hams. There were some nice reflections to be seen at Brixham on the morning of our first day's walk.

Whilst looking through images over the past year I came across one of the images of Mevagissey harbour I had overlooked and to be honest I think it is one of the best of that mornings sunrise.
Pays to look back from time to time
Bunschoten-Spakenburg is a beautiful village with wonderful authentic features, hospitable people and modern shops and catering establishments. There is still plenty of attention for history and culture, but one cannot put back the clock. Plenty of activities and wonderful events are held in this village, in addition to women in traditional costume and ‘old men’ telling their stories in Spakenburg dialect on a bench at the harbour. In short, this is the best of both worlds!
Bunschoten has an agrarian origin, which is evident from the many farms and rural character. Spakenburg was a real fishing village located at the Zuyder Zee, later the IJsselmeer. And this can also be seen in and around the harbours with many fishing boats and other beautiful ships. The centre of Spakenburg is located around the old museum harbour with an active wharf. The lovely shops, the Saturday market, the historical buildings, the museums and friendly cafés and restaurants with their outdoor cafés ensure a wonderful time in an authentic village. Everyone is welcome in Bunschoten-Spakenburg
Wells harbour was looking mighty fine on our early morning trip there. When we arrived there was nobody about which was lucky as the place is another of the places that get busy quickly.

A view towards the castle headland across the East Harbour on a Foggy April afternoon. There was very little wind ad so the East Harbour was mill pond calm and allowed for the reflection of the yachts moored in the harbour.
Thanks for viewing this and other images in my photo stream.
Typical postcard view of Polperro Harbour.
Does anyone send postcards anymore? Anyway, I was going for the oversaturated, happy, postcard style of yore...
when Mars bars and Marathons (now snickers) were pennies, and Opal Fruits (Starburst) were made to make your mouth water, and a penny arcade at the seaside really was a "penny" arcade, life was simple and summer holidays actually did have some sun...
I first visited Polperro with my family back in the late 70s, as a teenager, and I can honestly say it hasn't really changed much at all...
Just trying out a Nikon D700. Very heavy built like a tank which is fantastic. Picture quality is down to me and my lens. Can't really compare to the d750 or d800 totally different beasts from a different era. Not blowing up pics so pixel count doesn't come into play any pics just going onto social sites.
