Wünsche Euch allen einen schönen Valentinstag - oder einfach nur einen schönen und aufregenden Sonntag :)
I've got that right, don't I?
A few have mentioned they never tire of fall foliage shots and I reckon we'll continue to test that theory for a while. The winds over the last few days have done their annual duty, yet the oaks endure as they tend to do, the last to give up the ghost...tho some only do so with the arrival of new buds in the spring, somehow hanging on throughout our trying winter.
Another very nice day for late October, so off we go to the canoe to enjoy a relatively rare windless day.

We've gotten lots of rain the last 2 days and should be in a more normal weather pattern for July. Good for the animals.
I wish you the best year ever my dear Flickr friends! Lots of love, happiness and good health for you and your families!
Thank you for the ungoing support! I appreciate it!

I once asked a professional photographer, What is more important between camera and lens. "Light is the most important" he replied.

Believe it or not...there is a fence in there. All those flowers and vines are growing near/on a chain link fence.
This was at the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, MA. What a beautiful area. It's an old bridge that they covered in a stunning flower garden and made into a walking path. No longer used for vehicles.
I went to Austin earlier in the week and saw this church that I know I've driven past it hundreds of time and never noticed it. And, I saw the benches ..;)

We have a grey, grey weather, the worse month November is soon here. Time to sit indoors, light candles, drink tea, read a good book.
Happy weekend dear friends.

This kind of came out looking like a painting but it's not. The back ground is a painting on a wall. When I took this shot I knew I would use it somewhere. I thought about Window's Wednesday..:) But, since there aren't real windows I went with Bench Monday
A shot from La Grange, Texas. So different from the hill country where I live. But, still pretty in its own way.
I signed up with Airbnb and I have my first people coming on Friday. However, I have discovered a down side to Airbnb. They report all your income to the IRS..;( I didn't see that coming. So, I'm still listing room mate wanted in the newspapers..:).
..HFF!!
..lol..You had to know I took more than one drive by fence shot..;).However, I think this is the last one I'll post. They others don't do as much for me. This one didn't either until I ran it through Topaz Studio.
There was an art festival going on while I was at the coast. I had forgotten that Rockport was an art community. After taking this pic I went and walked around the in side and was really impressed by the work of so many artist. However, most of it was paintings. I hate the fact that people to recognize photography as art. Sure there was some photography work but selling for so much less than the paintings.
Other than that..;) The festival was fun. There was live music, lots of different foods and of course, the rides. I didn't go on the rides..:)
..HFF!!
Not every boat goes out in the morning I guess. And, maybe it can't. Because of the high tide it's hard to see the fence part. Plus, it's not much of a fence..;)
Hope all my American contacts had a wonderful Thanksgiving and everyone have a wonderful weekend. I have to work Friday and Saturday but I'm taking a week off Yay!
