Need I say more? Miss Ivey Anne is dolly perfection in my eyes. Danny is awesome.

Another hat made by my mom :)

My friend and co-worker Marisol is a very talented knitter and she's making Pudding some wonderful hats! I believe this particular hat is based on a pixie hat pattern by Parasol Doll.

Pudding is also wearing her new Woolly Rockers Batman sweater and skirt set from Edna and Sara - a new favorite outfit. :)

Maybe someday I will take another knitting class...I just love little knitted things!

She has a new dress and I made a coordinated hat !

Mi primera custom/My first custom!!!!

Work done: Sandmatting, MSC, carving, gaze correction, blogged eyes, new eyelashes and pastel make-up.

These are for my final for studio lighting. I am very happy with them! These are not the final prints I submitted, but these are some extras I had lying around. The sepia tone seems to be way off from the scan. I'll try working with it some more. I will just say that I absolutely love toning this paper even if I ended up inhaling lots of toxic fumes in the process.

And a long time ago Loulou's dress was worn by my collegue's Skipper. Her mom made this cute dress in the 70's!!

For the making of the handmade knitted hat and scarf I inspired myself to this nice video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=11sILPCV1y0

Vietnamese Leaf Hat, Thai Binh, Vietnam

The basic characteristics of the traditional Vietnamese leaf hats are: unique cone shape, very light and not durable. However, a Vietnamese leaf hat will last many years if it is well kept. It is hand-made by dried coconut leaves; it's floating and waterproof. The top side voids sun light and keeps rains outside. When holding the back side by hands, it can carry and hold things such as: rice, coins, money bills, food, vegetable, meat, flowers, and sometimes a couple of puppies to be sold at market or street side.

not a very good lie Saffy on or off the phone LOL

El gorrizmo de A fraga Maxica mola un montón, aquí podéis ver a Danielle haciendo el mongui con él (para mongui yo, sí, lo sé...).

Muchas gracias Marta, ¡nos encanta! ❤️

For the "2015 Weekly Alphabet Challenge" group, this fits the theme of B is for Bulge ... that bulging mouth!

For the group "115 Pictures in 2015" this fits theme #9 - Mythological Creature

#7 for 100 Things About Me: I love to wear silly hats.

This was the print I wanted to turn in, but I got a spotchy toning in the upper right corner and so I went with a slightly darker one that I wasn't happy with. Ugh.

Millinery Edwardian Wide Brim Hat

have't made this pic public yet, waiting for response from owner of these books ...

don't think she'll mind, but just in case.

bye bye 2009,

Hello 2010!

wishing all my flickr friends a very prosperous new year!

This is an awesome minature book collection that a friend of mine has in her posession. The books were printed in by her great-grandfather in 1902 if my memory serves me correctly. The hardwood book case itself is in impeccable condition, complete with those double door stopper thingies in one of the photos, brass fittings, hinges etc. The case itself is worth more than the books apparently.

The dollies had a fun time reading them, they brushed up on their poetry, English-French and English-German, the New Testament, among others... even a Cyrillic text printed in gold foil! whoo hoo!

It was a bit cool in her house, so they had to put on their berets too!

I ran out of the house with some dolls, didn't realize I had 4 in my bag! LOL My friend was nice enough to let the dolls peruse through the books!
