The forecast was for cloudy all day but it turned out to be a warm mellow sunny October day.

So we took ourselves off for brunch and a walk at Wicor. I love this eatery because its whole ambiance makes me feel as if I am in France....

02.01.07 : Sweet Potato Fries : $2.50 : Salty and crisp slivers of goodness!

Today I tried the Philly Cheese Steak @ Scottie's Eat-Mor. OMG! It was soooo good! It was way better than what one gets at a local, actual Philadelphia, Philly Cheese Steak restaurant in town.

It is made with thin sliced beef, of course, also green peppers, onions, and mushrooms, topped with Swiss Cheese.

Scottie's signature, hand cut, French Fries, also seen here, are always just the very best around.

The ketchup and hot sauce, for the fries, were my addition.

Opened their first store in Arlington Va in 1987, and expanded nation wide. Great Burger and Fries. I don't eat burgers that often, but when I want quality in a burger I know where to go. They give you too many fries though.

Omni Drops Weight Stand and Tay-Chip food stand at the Rumba on the Lumber festival. My wife and I usually go together to this event but she had to work. I still took the camera and snapped a few pictures at the festival.
