As I was walking between offices today, the sun was rising and emitting a soft pink light over downtown.
Being unable to resist pink light, I stopped in my tracks and looked around. Nothing at eye level caught my interest, but when I noticed the light reflecting off this fence, I was hooked and knew that would be my photo.
The bokeh of the cars in the distance was just an added bonus for me.

This makes me think of Buggy Rides for some reason. It sounds like "Amish Car Service" which would be the buggy rides, so there.
Krislynne Lee Wallace, Haimish Chandra, & Haley Noland... Haimish proposing to two very special ladies... but he's proposing at the same time?
This is the doggy we pet-sat over the Fourth of July weekend down the street from my parents' house.
I first met Haimish when he was a puppy that would fit in your two hands. He's a big fully grown dog now (old enough that he needs arthritis meds!) and still firmly considers himself a lap dog.
A friendly, affectionate old guy; a real sweetheart. I mean, just check out the expression on his face! It was fun to spend the weekend with him. We miss him already!
And boy, talk about a challenging photo to take! Low light auto-focus issues on a moving subject that just wanted to sniff my shoes. This is the lone keeper. ;-)

This is sort of representative of the "haimish" time we had the ElKhadi home. I think there's a German word that describes what kind of time we all had: Gemuchlichheit. (Forgive the spelling.)
