This photo was taken from a vehicle on the way to Mũi Cà Mau or Cape Ca Mau. The water body in the photo is for the aquaculture of shrimps/prawns. It is surrounded by mangrove forests.
Cape Ca Mau is located 110 km southwest of Ca Mau city.
It used to be a stronghold of Viet Minh guerrillas during the American (Vietnam) War. Consequently, the area was chosen for the aerial herbicide spray missions, which severely damaged the mangrove forests.
After the Unification in 1975, the government in Hanoi ordered to convert the damaged mangrove forests to farmlands, which was not successful due to unfavourable soil conditions.
In the 1980s, shrimp farming was introduced, which accelerated the cutting of mangroves.
Introduction of an integrated aquaculture - agroforestry programme in the 1990s, which stipulated shrimp ponds owners to allocate a certain percentage of their land for regenerating mangrove forests, stopped the negative trends finally. Liberalisation of land transactions for those who are compliant with the above-mentioned landuse regulation also contributed to the conservation of mangroves.
Mui Ca Mau Biosphere Reserve including Mui Ca Mau National Park is now designated as a reserve for the Man and Biosphere Programme introduced by UNESCO.
The national park is also a Ramsar Site.
Marion is a city in McDowell County, North Carolina, United States. It is the county seat of McDowell County. Founded in 1844, the city was named in honor of Brigadier General Francis Marion, the American Revolutionary War Hero whose talent in guerrilla warfare earned him the name “Swamp Fox”. This image was created from multiple exposures blended together in Photoshop CS6 layers using the "Lighten" blend mode. All exposures were taken with a single Paul C. Buff Einstein strobe with a 22" beauty dish attached to a Elinchrom boom arm. Was inspired by some of Robert’s Vietnam figs with shrubs covering their backs. Tried it with wookies but it wasn’t a good look, so I went with some normal figs for the technique. Tried to evoke feelings from the Battle of Endor and the big ewok battle. Hope it worked!
Mixed feelings. I just love the creativity and expression. But the trees are already beautiful. Maybe leave them alone.
Damage to trees and nature is one of the biggest negatives about this activity. Acceptable if temporary, but if no clean up occurs after the bombing, it's irresponsible behaviour.

Der leichte Wind, der um das Gebäude wehte, fühlte sich an wie 3 Grad minus, oder so.
Verwirklicht wird die Ausstellung mit Unterstützung des Düsseldorfers Selim Varol, der die wohl umfangreichste Sammlung
von urbaner Kunst und Designer Toys zusammengetragen hat. Graffitis, Schablonen, Mosaike, Aufkleber und Collagen, Skulpturen, Performances, Formen der Kommunikationsguerilla und des „Culture Jammings“, mit Arbeiten unter anderem von JR, Banksy, KAWS, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, Osgemeos, Herakut oder Prune Nourry umfasst die Ausstellung jede erdenkliche Kunstdisziplin im öffentlichen Raum. Die von Gesellschafts- und Konsumkritik geprägten Arbeiten, die ihren Ursprung in der Pop- und Skateboardkultur der 90er Jahre haben, sind heute genauso relevant wie zum Zeitpunkt ihrer Entstehung und verdeutlichen in ihrer Zusammenstellung das unerschöpfliche kreative, spielerische und politische Potenzial von Street Art, Designer Toys und urbaner Kunst. The light wind blowing around the building felt like minus 3 degrees, or so.
The exhibition is realized with the support of Selim Varol from Düsseldorf, who probably has the most extensive collection
of urban art and designer toys. Graffiti, stencils, mosaics, stickers and collages, sculptures, performances, forms of communication guerrilla and "culture jamming", with works by JR, Banksy, KAWS, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, Osgemeos, Herakut or Prune Nourry, among others, the exhibition includes every imaginable art discipline in public space. The works, which are shaped by social and consumer criticism and have their origins in the pop and skateboard culture of the 90s, are just as relevant today as they were when they were created and, in their compilation, illustrate the inexhaustible creative, playful and political potential of street art, designers toys and urban art. Bendigo Tramways is a living piece of the Victorian history. It has been in operation since 1890 and is now a popular tourist attraction featuring a narrated history tour and hence the name "Talking Trams".
Bendigo Tramways now operate the best working collection of trams in the world and the Bendigo Tramways Museum and Depot is the oldest working tram depot.
The trams are often colourfully decorated and this photo is an example where the tram is decorated with multicoloured, woollen knitted items after being yarn-bombed by a guerrilla craft group!

The structure allows some movability for the legs, neck, head, tail and other components like the radar and the weapons.
The disc launchers also come in an alternate version equipped with spring shooters, so they can actually shoot.
The Thunderjaw was designed using LDD and Mecabricks.
