“Our Guardian Angels are our most faithful friends, because they are with us day and night, always and everywhere. We ought often to invoke them.”
Quote -John Vianney
HSS and enjoy your Sunday ;-))
Processing one of my own photos.
The park is permanent pasture in 1997 and little of it appears to have been ploughed since the early C18. Extensive areas of relatively narrow ridge and furrow of C18 or early C19 date survive underlying the parkland features, especially in the northern part of the park and in the area south-west of the kitchen gardens. The park was probably created c 1700, at the time the house was rebuilt and the formal gardens laid out. Its easternmost section, between Beck's Farm and St Mary's Church, was added to it 1830 - 1884. Deer were last kept in the park in the 1920s.

The European Central Bank, guardian of money, and the full moon, guardian of the night. This picture was taken last weekend, I had planned it for a long time in advance, was lucky that evening with clear sky and later light clouds, spent 2 hours there, finally with three images blended in Photoshop.
Guardian, protector, fair. She prefers the shadows and solitude of the forest where she studies the ancient teachings. If any of her wards are in danger, she leaves in a rage because the calm has been disturbed.

❧ Have an awesome day ☙
Raglan Castle, Monmouthshire, South Wales. A late comer, built around 1430. As one website describes it: built more for show than battle but still saw activity in the civil war around the 1640s.
Well after three visits to the woods I must say "it ain't easy"
I've made a few fatal errors but hopefully learned a little
I've yet to master the art of focus stacking, or anything else technical for that matter.
Who's the clever person that said Photoshop is easy (Nick Page) lol!
Only easy if you know how to do it and why oh why do all of these tutorials presumed you already know the basics arghhhhh!
Rant over :)
Here's a wonderful specimen with it's gnarly branches, overlooking the lake at Fountains Abbey
We visited a wonderful exhibition there by Joe Cornish. Lots to aspire to, not sure I'll get there but I'll enjoy trying. Thats if the computer doesn't come to any harm in the process ha, ha!
For all you eagle eyed out there, the horizon may look a little tilted but that's a heavy rain shower sweeping in. Honest.....
In case you ask, I'm sorry but I do not participate in commenting groups, but I'm always grateful for your visits and would like to thank you now for stopping by, and any comments you may leave. Much appreciated, John...
