The Château-Musée Grimaldi in Cagnes-sur-Mer is a medieval fort and castle and home to modern art and ethnography collections.

Transformed into a public museum in 1946 and listed as a French historic monument in 1948, today the Château-Musée Grimaldi is a spectacular location home to 20th-century painting collections and contemporary art exhibitions. From the top of the tower there are spectacular views over the medieval town, the Bay of Angels and the Mercantour.

Chilean Communist Party Memorial

This is Grimaldi - one of our three cats. Grimaldi suffered from Feline HCM and passed away Memorial Day weekend. The observatory building was named in his honor - Grimaldi Tower. We commissioned an artist, Sharon Challand (http://www.pet-portrait.com/) to do his portrait. This pastel will hang in the main octagon on the central wall that surrounds the telescope pier.

 

Memorial service at All Saints Church in Dalston, East London for the clown Grimaldi. It takes place on the 1st Sunday of every February. Clowns from all over the world gather for this service.
