So we did the touristy thing and ate at Grimaldi's. And let me tell you, it was absolutely and wonderfully delicious. Now I know why New Yorkers are so fanatic about their pizza!
Or the Picasso Museum in Antibes. The exposition was very boring. I like modern art, but to stand silently and watch the pictures is as to put them in a grave.

François Grimaldi, the founder of Monaco's royal dynasty.
Disguised as a monk, he gained entry to the hilltop fortress, opened the gates for his soldiers, and seized the castle. His descendents have ruled Monaco ever since -- for over 700 years now.
He's shown here pulling out his hidden sword after coming through the gate.
We'd just come out. There is a queue most times for Grimaldi's. It's worth it. Apparently, Frank Sinatra used to eat there. He probably didn't queue, though...
The before dinner salad. This is the type of salads that I make fun of. NOtice all the greenery, the three slices of onion, and the 2 cherry tomato's..Woohooo. The only saved this sald is that the greens were pretty good, but a very sad salad for lacking more veggies. At least throw in a cucumber and a carrot stick..Gee wiz.
OMG, what a huge pizza!! Grimaldis pizza in Brooklyn the best pizza we've ever had!! Thanks Rob for taking us there!!
Memorial service at All Saints Church in Dalston, East London for the clown Grimaldi. It takes place on the 1st Sunday of every February. Clowns from all over the world gather for this service.
