Situé près du campus et du quartier du Grillenbreit, Le Grillen est la salle de musiques actuelles et amplifiées gérée par la ville de Colmar depuis 1998. Avec une capacité de 330 places, l’endroit offre une convivialité incomparable et lui donne une véritable chaleur humaine pendant ses soirées musicales.
Le Grillen est un lieu de sortie alternatif, ouvert à toutes les associations qui veulent y organiser des soirées festives et en général assez pointues. Dans cette vie culturelle particulièrement riche, on peut remarquer des associations particulièrement actives : Live !, After Dark, Hopla !, Hiéro Colmar, Zone 51... Le Grillen programme ainsi aussi bien de la pop que du metal, du rock'n'roll garage que des musiques électroniques, du hip-hop ou du punk...
Rajoutez à tout cela du cinéma, des manifestations citoyennes et toutes sortes de soirées festives et culturellement intelligentes (théâtre d'improvisation, festival de jazz off...).
Located near the campus and the Grillenbreit district, Le Grillen is the current and amplified music room managed by the city of Colmar since 1998. With a capacity of 330 seats, the place offers an incomparable conviviality and gives it a real human warmth during its musical evenings.
The Grillen is an alternative place of exit, open to all associations that want to organize festive evenings and in general quite pointed. In this particularly rich cultural life, we can notice particularly active associations: Live! , After Dark, Hopla! , Hierro Colmar, Area 51... The Grillen program as well pop as metal, garage rock'n'roll as electronic music, hip-hop or punk...
Add to all this cinema, citizen events and all kinds of festive and culturally intelligent evenings (improvisation theatre, jazz festival off...).

Si la devise "sex drugs & rock'n'roll" est depuis bien longtemps usée et galvaudée, il demeure pourtant un dernier groupe qui peut s'en revendiquer sans rougir ni avoir à en faire la preuve. Et ce groupe c'est Nashville Pussy qui depuis presque 20 ans prêche les vertues d'un rock'n'hard rock aux accents sudistes sur les scènes du monde entier. Pas moins de 6 albums au compteur, des tournées avec Marylin Manson, Motörhead et Lynyrd Skynyrd font de Nashville Pussy une véritable référence confirmée par la reprise de "Rock'n'Roll Outlaw" du groupe Rose Tattoo. Fun, bagarre, sexe, alcool, tatouages et surtout beaucoup d'humour et de second degré - voir bien plus - font de chaque concert un évènement immanquable pour les fans de gros rock sexy qui envoi.

Du saxophone à la « steel guitar » en passant par l'attitude spectaculaire à la Mark Knopfler, tout est réuni pour nous replonger 30 ans en arrière à un concert de dIRE sTRAITS. bROTHERS iN bAND est un vrai show musical qui rend honneur à ce groupe mythique. 9 musiciens sont rassemblés sur scène pour donner une seconde vie aux tubes du groupe légendaire, guidés par un Oscar Rosende à la voix et l'allure singulières.
Des milliers de spectateurs ont déjà assisté à ce spectacle qui vous fera remonter le temps.
La qualité est telle que Guy Fletcher (claviériste de Dire-Straits) lui-même a été perturbé par leur performance de Why Aye Man. Les « Sultans of Swing » n'ont qu'à bien se tenir !

Die Grills qualmten, die Bierflaschen gegen die Sonne gestreckt und angestoßen! Ein gemütliches Sommerevent vor den Ferien mit semesterübergreifenden Gesprächen und Aktivitäten. Am 17.6. nachmittags trafen sich Studierende und Dozenten im Stadtpark zum alljährlichen Grillen und Chillen. Eine gute Möglichkeit, auch mal mit den Dozenten außerhalb des Studienalltages zu plaudern, über Design und Werbung oder Gott und die Welt. Hier wurde mit den Fotografie-Dozenten über die mitgebrachten Spiegelreflex-Kameras gefachsimpelt, die zwischen Würstchen und Kartoffelsalat in jedem Picknickkorb zu finden waren. An anderer Stelle wurden die typografischen Vor- und Nachteile der Bieretiketten erörtert, denn die kunstschule wandsbek sponsorte einige Kästen kühles Pils.
